I added cosmic clones and a skeleton koopa head that eats the ground in Yoshi Star Galaxy and the first planet was blue because that. How did that happen? See the video: |

Embodiment of Time Can someone lead me to a non-capitalist clothing store? Level: 128 Posts: 4153/5087 EXP: 23745302 Next: 636398 Since: 07-07-12 Last post: 2177 days ago Last view: 740 days ago |
I don't know much, but my first guess would be that that was probably caused by the mattermouths? Does this still happen when they're not inserted in the level?

It was probably the mattermouths, because that's the trail color it leaves. ____________________ a |

Otherwise known as rob55rod. Should probably get back to SMG2 at some point... Level: 68 Posts: 91/1207 EXP: 2607283 Next: 121517 Since: 08-28-13 From: ._______________. Last post: 1936 days ago Last view: 1545 days ago |
Isn't that the same issue as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3GLOhmWv6g#t=275 ? Hmm...seems to be the same bug, involving planet rendering 'effects' so to speak, being applied to planets that are not (ahem) 'equipped' for them, causing blue. The game displays a similar if not identical blue in locations where nothing is being rendered (for example if you delete the skybox in a galaxy, the background will be blue). Not sure if this helps with fixing the problem but I hope that atleast I have contributed to finding the problem. Can't fix it if you don't know what's broken! |

Yep, that's it. It would work if we figured out how planets are effected by certain objects, and which planets aren't, and find out why they aren't. ____________________ a |

It's called very complicated clipping settings, both in the map and the product file definitions. ____________________ "I hate playing musical chats" ~ Quote of the month |

I've got my email ready.
To Nintendo From TheSpeedyMouse Subject: Objects like Mattermouths from Galaxy 2 Message: Dear Nintendo, Can you tell us on Kuribo64 how planets are effected by certain objects in Galaxy 1 and 2, and which planets aren't and why they aren't affected. It would really help with hacking your game. Sincerely, TheSpeedyMouse This will totally work! |

Posted by Luigi Posted by Krazyguy75 Posted by Anthe As much as it's not likely to work, better to try and fail then to not try and never know if it would work. |

Actually, why don't you just say, " Can you give us the level editor you used to make Super Mario Galaxy 2? Because ours doesn't work too well."
