trying to pick up broken DS Lite's, will tell you about it tomorrow

fuck, I'm past due


those should arrive pretty soon, I wish to repair some buttons on my DS that are loose

since I get different DS colors, I could also do stylish things


would also be nice if I can make more working DS's out of those and resell them, although I wouldn't get much out of it

I got my two DSes.

As expected, they don't work, both failing the same way: plug in charger, 'charging' light stays on for one second then off. DS doesn't start.

Interestingly, a working DS reacts the same way if no battery is present.

That'd be too easy, though. Tried them with a good battery, still nothing.

One of them has a crapoed battery, when I put it in my DS, it 'charges' but doesn't start.

The light blue DS is covered in some weird polish thing. It's also somewhat broken and came with a crapo touchscreen protector. Probably belonged to a clumsy kid.


Well, atleast, their buttons are OK, meaning I can do what I wanted to do in the first place (fix the buttons on my DS). Could also use case parts to do something cool.
