there is a small chance this can brick your 3DS

I've been meaning to write this for awhile but really, great job on this Skawo! I'd been following this since it started and it's great to see a full finished SM64DS hack. With the Star Road DS port and Fiachra's Sunshine DS coming sometime soon to boost the available SM64DS hacks it'll be great to see more people get some inspiration to start their own projects!

Seeing you guys developing custom SM64DS hacks can make me do another port of my current SM64 hack! Especially, great work, skawo!

I had a hard time patching the ROM but the issue comes from the .xdelta patch file, I followed your patching instructions until I came to the file destination to save it, then it keeps giving me an error, resulting to not have the ROM to work. If you can send the same ROM but with another patch format, that'd be nice.

mariocrash i think what happened is your not using the correct rom, try getting a different one with the exact title "0037 - Super Mario 64 DS (U)(Trashman)" (no quotations marks obviously

) It should be the first one. You'll get an error unless you gave xdelta the exact rom skawo used.

With lots of ASM work, it should be possible, but it's far beyond the scope of anything I could possibly dream of achieving at this point.

Super Mario 3D Land is way too different than 64/Sunshine for that to work.

I thought about doing a sequel, but I just don't have enough technical prowess or ideas to make anything new at the moment; I imagined how a rough level 1 could work in Another 2, but not sure what I could do afterwards
