I patched it with the new xml patcher from MrRean and i got the arc file for powerupfoo but its in object Data i still cant get it working i place it in the level on whitehole but it doesnt show up in the level

I'm pretty sure you need the asm copy of the hack, because it won't work in-game if you just try to copypasta objects from Super Mario Galaxy into Super Mario Galaxy 2. Ask MrRean for it. If he did give you the copy. I wouldn't know cos you just mentioned XML.
