Posted by LuigiXHero Some of this is kinda iffy too. Although Martinet has indeed done Luigi's voice since the 90s (Japanese MK64 and Mario Parties 1/2 excluded), it's been performed in different ways. Western Mario Kart gave him a deep voice (alongside Mario Golf and Tennis 64), Smash Bros 64 and Melee gave him pitched-up Mario clips, and Luigi's Mansion-onward gave him a more nasally voice. Personally, I'd go with MK64/64-sports Luigi voices. Not only are there far more voice clips between those games to work with (and more versatile clips at that), but they're more consistent than mixing his Mario Party voice with pitched-up Mario voices. |
