And we would either all have an icon for all the items, or none.

Yeah, I had kind of figured that might be an issue. Oh well, in keeping with the shop's RPG theme, I will mention that not all RPGs have icons for the items. An example for a game I have played would be Mother 2/Earthbound, which has only text to represent the items. Which is fine by me, honestly.

Anyways, it was only a suggestion for how one might go about doing it, were it to followed through with. I'm obviously not expecting it to happen.

Also, I suppose I should thank you for adding my suggested Iron Boots item to the Shop.

Great, nice to finally see someone posting a new Super Mario 64 DS hack! Perhaps in anticipation for this hack I will go and give Super Mario 64: A New Adventure a try. I have not played a Super Mario 64 hack in ages.

Aw, rats! I was going to deliver the news of Google finally splitting YouTube off from Google+, but Marionumber1 beat me to the punch. Oh well. ^_^

But I honestly don't care too much, because I really only ever used YouTube to watch content, and not to comment, upload, etc. But I still know that countless users will be glad for this change.

Not deliberately trying to be a downer or anything, but I am the only one who is worried about some backlash on YT due to copyright BS? I mean, YT's content ID system is kind of a train wreck from what I have read, doing more harm than good. Just thought I would put that out there for the sake of making my concerns known.

Exactly what the title asks. When you follow a walkthrough for a game, do you follow it step for step, following exactly everything the player in the walkthrough does or says to do? Or do you only reference the walkthrough when you become stuck or are otherwise in need of some guidance, leaving all the rest to your own gameplay? Or do you just not use game walkthroughs at all? Post your thoughts in this thread after voting above.

PS; "Walkthrough" spelled as "walkthru" in poll options due to character limit. And my choice is "Only When Needed."

Got two things I suspect might be bugs, although I do realize they may also be intentional. Both pertain to editing.

1) When a post gets edited and saved, the edit notice displays as rev. 2 rather than rev. 1 for some reason. Perhaps this is intentional, but I don't know so I thought I'd post it here.

2) When the main body post of a thread (i.e, the thread itself) gets edited, the thread is bumped up to the top of the forum's front page as though someone has posted a new reply, even if this is not the case. The "last post" display also changes to the date and time of the edit. Again, intentional maybe, I don't know, so I thought I'd mention it here.

Am I the only one who thinks we need more Mario-themed items in the shop? How about adding a Fire Flower power up to the shop, under Weapons? Its purpose would obviously be allowing one to throw fireballs.

Another minor little suggestion regarding posting replies: for the sake of making it easier and more convenient to post smilies and emoticons, why not have all the emoticons displayed somewhere near the reply box, so that we need not go off of memory of their text formatting.

OK yeah, this project is going nowhere. Not sure if this makes sense, but I find myself happy doing other things rather than work on this project. I don't know if I'll pick back up on it or not, but I'll update this thread if I do.

I sometimes feel the same way when I make levels for New Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Like I'll start something great but then never actually get around to finishing it.
