how about the first section is for the beginning of the level, then the intense part should be at the end or a different star.

I see what you mean. As a composer, its my job to vary the tone of the music throughout the game. I personally believe ambiance works for a haunted theme, because ambiance puts greater emphasis on the level. It would make the place a bit more unsettling. and NWPlayer123, what did you think of the intense piano part?

How about... Mega Bouldergeist? A version of Bouldergeist with arms and legs. I actually had this idea when I was doing this stuff for SMG3. I even have a picture and an old (not very good nowadays) song!

And MarioMaster720, having one dark song in a game full of upbeat music gives the soundtrack and the game a bit more variety. I am guessing not many little kids know how to use an SD card:P

Do you like Melty Molten Galaxy's music better or Buoy Base's

The idea is a bit ambitious, but putting a spin on a classic boss would be epic. Are bosses the programmer's greatest challenge?

An older theme I composed for a world map theme. It ages well, and I could picture this as World 5 map's theme. Easily.

Buoy base for the win! It's my favorite SMG/SMG2 track ever. Melty Molten is also amazing, and better than Melty Monster.

The old forums were cool, but I think Kuribo is better due to the ease of finding what you're looking for. It is good we moved.

It sounds very MIDI. It also could use more of a direct melody, as things do get a bit cluttered. Not bad for a first attempt though.

This is just a hacking question in general, but is it possible after you beat the level, to have a random skydome when you replay a level? It would add more replay value to see all the skydomes (sky background texture). I used to play SWBF2, and there was a mod that had this random skydome feature, it was great.

I agree. Custom bosses would be difficult for us. Having a variant of a past boss is not a bad idea. Also, for the second stage of Dark Bouldergeist, I think maybe texturing Bouldergeist an orange - red and speeding up his attacks would be a good idea. Also Mariomaster720, I would like to see this video. Bouldergeist is my favorite boss.

I disagree. I think all maps should have their own themes. Adds more variety and scope to the placing of the worlds. I know NSMBU had remixes for all the maps, but I like SMG2's style with their own tracks to make each world feel different.

Hmm... I would go with different themes per world. I think its time for... A POLL

PS The goomba just got squished inside of me and a shyguy rose from the ashes:P
