So...while derping around on the IRC, we came up with a totally believable scenario. We should have an ALBW Dark World version that is what Bowser's trying to get into. He knows he can't win here, so he tries to break into the other universe where there are doubles of everything except Mario and Luigi. One of Rosalina, Peach, even bringing back star toads from SMG1's beta as a toad brigade and even normal toads. IT TOTALLY WORKS.

For a possible replacement galaxy, I came up with something unique.
I call it: "Masked Metropolis Galaxy" This galaxy actually takes place in a city, with a bunch of NPCs. The reason why it is "Masked" is because there is a lot of crime that takes place in this galaxy. Mario will have to use his nifty powerups/buddies to his advantage to make him like a some sort of superhero. Also, abnormal things could happen like endless rain, which is actually caused by Giga Latiku atop on the tallest skyscraper or something. What do you guys think?
EDIT: I also need to mention that this isn't some bigass model, actually some planets are floating around that share parts of the city that you can get to via launch star.

To me it just sounds like some GTA-styled buildings with a spam of random NPCs, with no theme in general

I have an idea for a replacement galaxy:

(This galaxy is from one of my dreams...)

This galaxy uses a bunch of powerups (Concept below):

Use a bee mushroom to fly up until you reach a cloud flower, which you use to platform across clouds to a spin drill which you use to drill to the other side of the planet. The other side will have a fire flower to break boxes to reveal a rainbow star which you use to run through a gauntlet of enemies to grab a silver star and then a rock mushroom, to get you to the next planet. There could be yoshi powerups too, for the for other silver stars.

Anyways, I just thought that might be a fun hungry luma galaxy.
