Ironically, I attempted to create Satoru (a full MK7 Editor for Linux, Windows, and macOS) 2 years ago, but I gave up soon after. |

Posted by StapleButter Wait, you genuinely never knew? Windows always had a fuckton of backdoors for these very purposes, it's just that Windows 10 doesn't keep them top secret anymore (Microsoft can't anymore, because Edward Snowden). |

It also works the other way around; robots can identify themselves as humans also:
The reason we use it on DSHack.org is not because we want to stop spam (the board itself is already secure enough without Captcha), it's to prevent automated scripts that allow you to make unlimited amount of accounts in a few seconds. |

Posted by Dilene At one point, somebody advertised his own website I was unable to access. As it turned out, he simply banned all of Asia because of "spammers", and then whitelisted Japan, just because I told him the site was down all week on my end. At least he was glad to see his blacklist appeared to work. There's a common stereotype going on that people living in Asia are all considered spammers, so that would mean I'm a spammer? My point here is, maybe there are lots of spammers in Russia, Ukraine, and China, but there are legit users there as well, and you're basically punishing them for the spam they've never sent in the first place. Plus, if you're considering to ban all countries with lots of spammers and/or spambots, why won't you ban the USA? The USA can always be found in many top 10's of countries that spread most spam... |

I was saying this jokingly.
Of course, Linux has some exploits and viruses, but they're not even close to as bad as what Windows has. Well, Linux exploits can be as bad as being a 20 (!) year old exploit that wasn't patched since, but once found, they've been patched quickly. Mostly. |

Posted by Super Hackio That's very wrong. 1. It's "Wii", not "WII". 2. An ELF is a general binary format, recognised by OSs based on Unix, or OSs being Unix-like (like Linux). For a better insight: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executable_and_Linkable_Format |

I've came to the point I've got 4 different phones:
An iPhone with iOS, a Nexus with Android, another Nexus with Plasma Mobile (aka, KDE on a phone), and a Lumia with Windows 10. iPhone and Android allow 3rd party browsers, Windows 10 doesn't, and Plasma Mobile ships with a desktop version of Firefox, but I didn't find a way to get Internet to work on that thing yet, so I don't know if I can install a different browser or not. Despite that, I always tend to use Safari on the iPhone, and Chrome on the Android phone, it just feels more properly integrated somehow. I tried Chrome on the iPhone, and Firefox on both, but neither of those feel like they should feel... |
