Uhh... Issue.
I tried following the process for allowing all characters to enter star doors. Of course, I had to start over, since I'm using a USA ROM which doesn't use that code. So, I just have to find a new code... ... ...There is none. Great. Any other ideas? Editing the ROM directly might work but I don't even know where to begin with that. ____________________ |

Posted by LeftyGreenMario I doubt it, they explicitly said that the matches during the testfire were 1-set, which was repeated in the tournament info ingame. It would not have been needed imgame if there weren't other options. ____________________ |

Master Quest
I couldn't find the original download, so I just extracted the one off the SD card. Turns out, the Riivolution file was modified from the original, so I had to change it back. Hopefully that's not an issue, as the level itself was untouched, and it should still work. Not exactly purist, but it will play. I did send a private message, but if the download really is gone I may as well post the link publicly. ____________________ |

I was bored one day and decided to play a game that I owned but only really played once or twice: Mario Party: Star Rush.
That was a few months ago and I'm still playing it. Took some time to get used to the style but once I did it was FUN. Wish I could play against humans though. Seriously though I have a vast majority of the Boss & Ally spawn locations memorized, and they change on a map-by-map basis. Maybe I've played a but much. Edit: I was sick of the CPUs beating me at a skill minigame (Reaction-based) so I practiced... my arm hurts now. I've officially played too much. ____________________ |

It might be helpful where we really want intelligent people to become the discussion, because new users won't join just to post there. However, New users won't join to post there, which might result in a decreased userbase if we're not careful.
Serious Discussion is the only forum that could really benefit from this, and wouldn't really cause users to join anyway, so I could see that being members-only, but anything else I think would be a bad idea. ____________________ |

Started college, had significantly less time to work on it, decided to spend time/energy on other things. Now It's better, but it's been so long...
Anyhow, I'm still left with some problems that I need to eventually solve: -BoB hasn't stopped crashing. Probably going to end up starting over, but that's only part of a larger issue, which is: -I absolutely have no idea what to do with BoB's seven stars. The other missions were designed around a concept I had, but I just can't think of one for BoB. I'm thinking of making it a 1/2-star secret mission instead, but that means only ~20 stars would be present. That wouldn't be much of an issue if there wasn't: -no way to add a progression block at 15-20 stars (which would be needed for ???????). Unless there's an easy way to make 3-star doors require 20 stars, the 100%-ending would have to happen as early as 12 stars, when there are at least 19 complete. So, here are my options moving forward: -Scale back, have 20 stars instead of 30. Look into memory editing for adding a 20-star door, then add ???????. This would mean the complete version could release very soon, but wouldn't be much more than the current demo (That + 1 secret star + Final Battle (unlocked at 8) + ??????? (unlocked at 20-stars)) -Somehow come up with a concept for BoB that could span an entire 8-star level (Someone else would have to help me with that), remake it with that in mind, and continue as-planned for 30 stars. Would still have progression issues, but the game would be complete with no issues. However, this could take a while. -Fix the crashing issue, and continue from there. The entire first star is modeled, and I can just build a level around that; I did have some semblance of a concept initially. Wouldn't take nearly as long but... still gotta figure out why it's crashing, and I don't have the slightest idea how. Here is the ROM, if anyone else wants to take a look, go ahead. If anyone has any idea where/how to look, that would also be appreciated. All I know is that if you enter certain parts of the map, it freezes; may or may not have to do w/the water bombs. I'll default to the first option if no one has any opinions- It's the most likely to succeed by far and the only one guaranteed to bring significant progress- but I'll leave it open to discussion for now. Anyhow, 1:00 AM for me, gotta sleep. But thanks for reminding me this exists, I would have totally left it alone. (So... progress = very little) ____________________ |

Wait, I thought Reggie! was unique in that it didn't need a stage, it could create one itself?
Note- if a tilemap is present in a level, but not your editor's files, then the editor won't open it. I think that's your issue. ____________________ |
