ok, now I REALLY want to play it.

Tip: The player doesn't have access to Luigi for most missions until the post-game, so you should do testing with Mario (to better mimic how the olayer encounters everything).

But anyway, I use Luigi because there won't be a new save file unless you start a new one, allowing access to play any of your favorite missions... just to see that it is DIFFICULT AS ALL HELL! I have lost about 1,791 Luigi's while playtesting on Dolphin, so yeah.


You can switch to Mario at the hub... right?

Also, if you need to kill a galaxy from W2, you already have Kaizo Challenge Galaxy hanging out... It doesn't even have a W1 icon...

If you have precision platforming with a rock mushroom... spinning is prettymuch instant death.

For some reason, I thought I saw beat block with a rock mushroom.

Then I realized: "oh, no, just seeing things... Wait... Wow, that was actually a brilliant idea to stop the player from spinning."

Then you asked for suggestions, so... yeah.

Also, could you release a .wad as well as a Riivo download for the full version (or this one)? My Riivo isn't working and I can't be the only one, so... please?

Once I had a dream where I woke up to a... sound.

Instantly thinking the worst, I tried to look at it, but... couldn't get up, as... sleep paralysis.

Eventually I moved enough to fall out of the bed, but it wasn't enough. The sound was still there.

Then I remembered a trick I read about: try wiggling one toe/finger hard enough, and it'll end.

It worked... as in, I woke up for real. :(

Alright, I have a week off soon. My plan:

-Steal my 2GB SD card from my 3DS, and back it up.
-Set up Smash Stack
-Re-download Riivolution, and prepare for launching.
-Launch Smash Stack

If it doesn't work...

-Return SD card to normal
-Find out what went wrong

If it does,

-Install Riivo, but exit
-Return my 2 GB SD card to normal, and give it back to my 3DS.
-Load Project Kaizo onto my 10 GB SD card (Smash Stack fails for SD cards of that size)
-Enter SMG2 into my Wii U
-Play

Eventually, I'll turn my daredevil code on, but I want to beat the game naturally first.

O_0 ok then...

Create 5 textures for each texture, each with a different level of lighting (Numbered 1-5. 5 being the brightest)
Place the textures with precision in their spots.


But don't include the ones you didn't end up using, if you need to.

Reinstalling Riivolution was a complete success.

Now, I just have to download it, and I should be good (thought I did that already, but no big deal.)

A solid minnute of loading, the pack is huge.

BUT IT WORKED!



Starship Mario

-Were the edits necessary? Seems odd to me.

Sky Station 1:

-a backwards somersalt at the beginning skips the entire first planet.

-also... the teleporters/sling star on planet 2 are... ?

-Finally, the last two planets are unchanged. At least remove the life shroom, really?

Yoshi Star 1:

-Hug the left wall to survive. Unfair, but no big deal.

-The octo-things aren't actually a threat.

-Rainbow Star? Why? It's more than enough time to kill the big goombas

-Last planet has seemingly no change. Reason?

Sky Station 2

-Zero changes after planet 1. You're kidding, right?

Spin-Dig 1

-Alright.

-Drilling through the planet has a 100% chance of taking damage due to cosmic clones, but you probably knew that.

-The second planet is insane, especially since the clones knock out the drill, so... the intended way doesn't work.

-But, the Cosmic Medal platform is close... can you get from there to the launch star?

-Backward somersalt? nope, not high enough.

-Triple jump? GOOD LUCK. WITH THAT.

-Only solution I could find was backwards somersalt + damage bounce, which I was unable to pull off.

-You tested to make sure Mario could make that... Right?

Overall: Underwhelmed. But, Spin Dig is fun.
