This video showcases the new *hax 2.5 payloads for various 3DS (including the New 3DS) hacking methods, which work up to the latest firmware version (10.2 at time of writing). The new payloads give you access to the same old homebrew you know and love, but in addition packs in some exciting new features, including :
- eShop access on old firmware versions
- rom hacking, which lets you run modded versions of games you own such as pokemon
- in-game screenshot taking simply by pressing the home button
- 3DS CPU overclocking in any game
- sleep mode and power button support
- a bunch of other cool stuff probably

..Why is your whole post in quotes :P?

Anyways, I hosted a sleepover yesterday. Trick or treat turn out was overall meh compared to past years, but hey, it's free candy. Plus, we played Smash, Apples to Apples, candy fights, and SM3DW.

I also started watching Steven Universe to see what all the hype is about, and I'm in love with it. So far, Pearl is my favorite gem.

Kinda depends on who I'm talking to.
Parents and acquaintances - Programming
Close friends - Rom hacking

I heard from friends, they saw how some of their local Shops had Christmas Trees already in place...HALFWAY THROUGH FUCKING OCTOBER!

I know, right? I can't believe they're 10 months late!

Posted by StapleButter
sadly Christmas is one of those good old traditions that the shitty modern world has turned into a heap of commercial bullshit

Yup, screw those companies...

I can get a build for you later today, but beware that it doesn't have any saving functionality ATM.

Is the download virus scanned?

If you're referring to SM64DSe, then no, it is not a virus.

Oh, so they have finally resurrected the actually useful defragmenter, instead of the completely useless blackbox they provided in Vista.

Nope. It's third party software, sadly.

Auslogics DiskDefrag.

I was gonna use the one built into Windows 10, but my brother told me to use that instead.

I decided to give my shot at porting a K64 theme:
This is based off the Blarg City theme, and you can grab it here.

I also converted music for it, Gateway Galaxy from SMG. I'm not including it with the theme since it isn't very fitting (I just like that song :)), but you can get it anyways here

Lastly, I made a video of it.

EDIT: I fixed some of the ugly/broken things.
- Close Button now matches Open & Manual
- 3D Folders (the ones on the top screen) are now customized
- The buttons next to the miiverse shortcut are now customized
- Generic file inside folder is now customized
- Folder BG improved
- Folder back arrow customized
- More Fixes
I noticed that when using this on an actual 3DS, there's a funky gradient with the icon resize buttons that doesn't appear in YATA. I'm not sure what the cause is, and it looks kinda cool anyways, so I'm keeping it. Think of it as a feature :D.
No preview this time, YATA doesn't really show the changes.

If you're using menuhax/themehax, then you can have a custom theme but still the exploit if you have the latest version of the installer.

That would be very useful for Splatoon, since there's amiibo-only content in that game.
