Here's how the sprites look:

I'm not sure if they're supposed to be like that or not since I'm not used to dealing with sprites like that (other than when I'm editing GBA games) I'll be fine if I can't get them edited though, since I've already edited the sprite of Mario's head (the one that you showed in your picture that showed the config options), and since replacing the models and that is enough for me. :D

Also, Stomatol, I looked at the sounds in MKDS Course Modifier, but I'm not sure how to replace them though. I want to replace most of Mario's sounds with Luigi's since they sound similar to Waluigi's.

EDIT: Since I have almost all the parts I mainly need complete, I've decided to release a patch for this: https://kuribo64.net/?page=thread&id=1774 I might make a second version where I update some of the animations when that update is made to Sm64dse, and when I get to replace sounds too, although I had to release this one right now since I've got some animations to work on. Thank you to everybody who helped me! :D

I did make it taller at one point, but it made his arms really long since he was too tall to fit over anyone's bones. I might make him taller when editing bone animations in Sm64dse is implemented. Also, if you're ever thinking of getting a flashcart, Realhotstuff.com is a good site to buy from. I bought from them twice, and the R4 card costs around 20 dollars (with shipping included)

I put Wario in the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time! Here's the PPF Patch and here's the release video! Wario is finally here in this Ocarina of Time hack I've made, and he's not gonna let anyone steal his spotlight, It'sa Wario Time! (Also, thank you to StupidMarioBros1Fan for ripping the Mario Party 2 model of Wario for me to use)

Forgot that Mario's model doesn't allow translucency so the water container has to be opaque.

I put Mario's model from the original Mario 64 DS so now you can play as classic Mario, so it feels more like the original Sm64. Download (Patch for European rom): https://www.mediafire.com/?e0m4406ic32keat

As long as I can find Luigi's head file it's possible, and I haven't been able to replace Yoshi so far but I think he is replaceable.

You should be able to replace the body as well as the head, just follow my tutorial on replacing models as you did for the Waluigi model. Both head and body models are stored in /ARCHIVE/arc0.narc/data/player/

To get the Luigi model you should be able to use the Project64 plugin "LemD3D8" to dump the current 3D data whilst playing as Luigi. You could then import the resulting VRML model into Blender and extract and export Luigi's model that way.

Thanks, I thought Luigi_head_cap was just the invisible cap model at first since I tried editing its textures in an older version of SM64DSE before I knew how to replace models, and it only had the invisible cap textures at that time, but I just checked again in a newer version of SM64dse, and it seems all the textures are there, which means that it really was the head file :). And also thank you for telling me about the LemD3D8 plugin, with it I should be able to rip all the SM64 character models including the Luigi and Wario ones from the Sm64 hacks. :D

What about replacing textures with the original N64 textures? Or even replace things like Koopa the Quick with thier original N64 models.

That sounds like a good idea, although since I'm working on an animated project I don't think I'll have the time, I've always thought the idea of replacing all the DS graphics with the N64 ones is cool.

'd be faster to just ask VL-Tone directly. I think the Luigi model isn't part of SM64, it's just modifications to the Mario model done by TT64.

True, I was thinking about replacing Luigi with the Sm64 hack model from Toad's Tool 64.

The patch only works with the European rom (the one that only ends in EU) but if you send me your rom I can put the N64 Mario files in it with Sm64dse.
