It's all a scam. The fun fact is that none of it actually makes you lose wait. My mother eats diet food, and no matter how much I try to tell he it's a scam, she wastes money on it anyway. Diet food will leave you feeling empty, it can't make up for what regular food can, so as soon as you finish on diet candy bar, you'll get another one because you're still not satisfied. When in reality eating one regular version of the same brand of candy bar would satisfy you much quicker. Hopefully no one here, or on any other forum falls for these things. The people who do fall for it, fall victim to the giant, money devouring, lying, manipulative corporate monster. Seriously, if someone likes you just because you're thin, then you need to find someone else.

You know something funny? Well, I sure as Hell do, I was attempting to install a few programs, from a trusted source, of course. It says it won't work on Windows 10, so Windows 10 suggested that I run it in Compatibility Mode for an older OS, so I do, and guess what? Windows 10 decided to make the decision to block the program for me, and told me "This Program has been blocked by an Administrator", what Administrator? I'm the only Administrator on the whole bloody Computer! So, I had to install a different version of the Program...

Well they pretty much cleaned up their act now. You have to give them credit for that. 6 years ago was a long time ago, everyone makes mistakes. It's best not to dwell on it.

I see, that's something I can agree on. To be honest, what I've heard about MarioWiki, ever since I started joining boards in early 2014, has been bad, so I've been avoiding it, so I wouldn't know much about how it is today.

I'm not a fan of the "three strike system" or rigid systems that deal with everyone in the same way. Or machine-like moderation. Every user is a different case and has to be dealt with in a different way.


I also save a lot of time with some lamers that show they aren't going to improve. Some people don't like that kind of fast bans, but it saves a lot of time.

I can see where you're coming from, but the 3 Strike system is more effective in my opinion.
We used a 100 Point Warning system before we switched Forum Software, now it's a 3 Strike System, this we find this to be more effective towards the users who tend to break the Terms of Service a lot. If you get banned on DSHack, you're banned for good. (Unless you get framed, or you've been wrongfully accused, and we realize our mistake).

I think in MarioWiki, there's at least one permabanned user who rerigged at least twice and got away with it. However, he's making some good contributions so I really don't want to point out that it could be this one guy who got permabanned.

Something doesn't feel right when a rerigged user making a lot of good contributions get banned because they were simply a sockpuppet of a perma'd one instead of being in really bad faith.

I agree, when a user that has noticeably improved, they deserve a second chance. But I think think they should be closely watched, considering that they were banned before.

Getting a new Computer, or replacing your Router won't change your IP Address.
Changing your ISP isn't as easy as "fuck you (ISP1), I'll go to (ISP2) in a second".

Yes I know, I was joking. You have stay within a contract for a certain amount of years, before you can switch your ISP, and the IP Address is affiliated with the ISP.

Trying to hack MKDS, by breaking Nintendogs open with a Snow Globe, and trying to shove it into the SD Card slot of any Computer that I could find.

Trying to fix the built in antenna, on an old 80's TV. Let's just say; that I got quite the shock.

Trying to clean out the disk slot on my Wii with a floor tile, paper, and tape.
