I haven't played SMW so I'll go with SMB3. It's easily an amazing game

In gameplay and controls there are basically none except for the underwater driving and the gliders.

Woah Woah does this mean Polari that you haven't played it?  GO.AND.BUY.IT! It's the best Mario Kart so far!
My favorite Mario game for the Wii is obviously either SMG1 or SMG2. I like those equally. Interesting question. Even though Mario Kart 7 is clearly the best one, my favourite is Mario Kart: Double Dash. It was the first videogame I officially owned (but I played tons of other games before that though). MkWii is great. Second best game after MK7. I also really like CTGP Revolution
MkDS is a good game. I'll especially praise the inclusion of Missions mode, R.O.B as a playable character and the addition of the Luigi's Mansion track, but to be honest the graphics are pretty bad and the online wasn't exactly perfect.
