Played through Another Super Mario 3D, and I have to say... IT'S AWESOME!!! But I noticed a few glitches. First, in the lava course (Course 7), when you get the Red Coin Star and return to the castle, the game tells you that you got the "Secret Way to Behind Bars" star (and vice versa). You should fix that. Also, another glitch that I found was that, after defeating Bowser in "The Final Showdown," one of the castle secret stars (the one that you need Luigi to get outside the castle, behind the bars) de-spawned from the map. That glitch needs to be fixed, because I can not get that Star, and it is the last Star that I need to get 100% in the game! Thanks!

EDIT: Just noticed that I actually missed a Star in Course 5... but the Star I missed and the de-spawned Star in the castle means that there are 73 Stars...? I'm confused!!!

Played through the v1.01 update and got all 72 Stars this time! Hooray! But I have a quick question - Is the final Star (the one you get for defeating Bowser in "Final Showdown") supposed to be added to the Star count? If it is, then it did not add on for me. Also, in the desert level (Course 6), Star 6 is titled "Find the Pharaoh's Tomb." Isn't is spelled "PHAROH"? One last (minor) thing... When you get the Star above the final Star Door, a message pops-up saying "You got 100 coins!" Is that a glitch, or is it non-fixable? Thanks.

The reason I asked if the final Star was supposed to be added to the counter was because in the v1.00 that I played, that Star DID add to the counter, but it DID NOT add in v1.01. Glitch, or intentional? And could it be fixed?

I don't know if this is a bug or is on purpose but in Whomp's Volcano, the mission called "Wario's two switches" You can't stomp on the switch underneath the four black blocks, sorry if I am spoiling anything

Also Skawo, what 3D modeling program do you use?

You need WARIO (not Mario) to break the blocks and reach the switch underneath them. (Only Wario can destroy the black blocks.)

Everytime I use the SMGExtractor, I get a message saying "Failed to mount the disc." I updated my HBC to the latest version... I tried to use a USB device... and still no luck... Am I missing something???

I played through the Death Storm Galaxy, and I have to say: THAT WAS A FUN LEVEL...

After I figured out that you needed to kill the red urchins and find the Question Mark coins...

Also, reaching that Comet Medal was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to figure out...

MY RATING: 7.25/10.00

Yes... I can run/play both Galaxy 1 and Galaxy 2 normally (through the Disc Channel), and I can play custom levels on Galaxy 2 (via Riivolution). But I can't use the SMGExtractor for some reason...

No...

If the SMGExtractor doesn't work, then I'll give up... since I can't seem to find a SMG2 ISO.

...The Comet Medal was EASY for you because you made the level. It took a lot of skillful triple jumps to reach that high area, because there are no sling stars to launch you up the tower. You also HAVE to go to the top because there is a Question Mark up there...

I extracted the files using Dolphin, and all the .arc files say "Size: Zero Bytes" even though the ISO itself was 3.2 GB. I don't understand what I did wrong???

...I set it to be in 3GB chunks on CleanRip. Did something go wrong that I don't know about?

So, here's the problem:

...I successfully got CleanRip (launched via HBC) to create a Super Mario Galaxy 2 ISO (with the settings: No Dual Layer, 3GB Partitions, and No New Drive for New Partitions), but when I try to combine the two halves of the ISO created, I get an error message (from the command program) saying "Not Enough Space on the Disk".

My SD card has 16GB of free space on it, so I can't seem to figure out why THIS is happening. (This error appears after 4.0GB of the ISO is combined.)

Can anyone help me out?

Hmmm... OK.

(In case you're wondering why I created a new thread, it is because we were going off-topic in the SMGExtractor thread.)

I have successfully obtained the ISO and have gotten Whitehole v1.2 to read the files. Now, I have run into another problem:

When I try to open a galaxy with Whitehole, I get this error message: "Whitehole quit unexpectedly while using the libjvm.dylib plugin." What does this error mean, and how can I fix it?

...Oh, it's OK. I have a Windows 7 laptop (that runs slow) that I can use instead. In fact, I've managed to make it work already! :D

Now, where is a tutorial on using Whitehole...?

So, I've watched a few videos showing how to do things in Whitehole. Now, I have a question: How do I zoom in/out on Whitehole? (I'm using a laptop with its mouse pad, BTW.)

Does the mouse pad support sliding two fingers parallel to each other to emulate a scroll wheel? If so, do that. If not, buy a mouse. They're much more practical for this purpose. I still think someone should add support for using + and - to zoom, for precisely this reason.

It does support tow-finger-parallel scrolling. Thanks!

Next question: How do I edit the mission text (the text that appears on the Star Select screen)???
