SUPER MARIO LAND 2: SIX GOLDEN COINS


This pack overrides SMB3's theme with a Super Mario Land 2 theme!
Create your stages on Mario Land or go in space and create tricky Star Mazes. The possibilities are unlimited.

You can also play any normal Stage created with the original SMB3 theme with this theme to get a different feeling ;D

Issues (who will be fixed in a future version):
-The editing music sometimes don't play.
-Koopa Troopa's sprite gets different collours in the underground, space, ghost and castle themes.
-Some fanfares (Death, Goal, P-Switch, Boss and Bonus music) do not play correctly, but this seems to be an issue by SDCaffiine and may works on Loadiine and emulators. (The BFSTM files have no problems at all)

You can repack sarcs/packs properly using the fork of Uwizard by smb

Thanks! But for some reason, compressing a file to szs somehow doesn't work. It first told me, that i need vcruntime140.dll, but after installing it, it still gets me an error with just the text "(0xc000007b)", but this hackpack from this tutorial works fine with szs packing.

Why a SMG section on K64, if there is a whole board about hacking SMG? On Neo Mario Galaxy, you will find anything about SMG. It has a nice Wiki, useful tutorials and downloads.

May you remember this funny game as a kid :). Donald Duck: Goin Quackers (known as Quack Attack in Europe).
However, there is an early demo version i found on a CD-ROM, that was included in a Mickey Mouse magazine from the early 2000s.

This has a lot of differences! The game itself was just simply called "Donald Duck Demo":

It also has a huge amount of graphics from a very early Rayman 2! I'm looking for more unused things.

Alright. I documented a lot of things on TCRF. Stages, music, soundeffects and more differs from the final. Also some of the Rayman 2 graphics can be found in some prototypes. Here's the site

Also very interesting: Not only graphics from an early Rayman 2 remain there. Also the filestructure and the whole filesystem are so similar (/or exact the same), that you can even open the game with a Rayman 2 editor !

This will be really useful for discovering unused areas and more in the final version of Goin Quackers, since the final also has a big amount of unused things! The only problem with the editor is, that it can't load the models.

Yeah, Mario Kart 8 custom tracks are finally (but still painful) possible. So post your custom tracks here!

I wanted to start with DS Waluigi Pinball and Luigi's Mansion, but i still have trouble with model importing, so i better start with a simple track:

A Super Mario Galaxy 2 hack i'm working on with some dudes since 2015 or something. We do not want to reveal that much yet ;)
The galaxy in the picture is one of our first galaxies and is still under construction. It will get huge improvement of course (though this already cost a lot of time...)

Ok i have some problems with Mario's sprite. I first used Wexos's Toolbox to edit the BFRES file, but that somehow causes the game to crash while loading the titlescreen. Later i used BFRES Tool v4.1. and it works, however, the sprite is somehow scrambled ingame:

It is displayed perfectly fine in every tool, but ingame it looks like this.
Has someone an idea? Thank you in advance :)

Oh, yeah. There are some stupidly positioned testing things left in the screenshots ;)

Also a small update for the house on the cube planet. It's based on the house from the unused DiskFlowerPlanet (as seen here)

This looks really great! Good job on this one. And that you replaced all the themes makes this even more better. Also have you replaced the music too?

Yep, all themes have the music from Mario Allstars :) For the Ghost House and Airship soundtrack, i use the 16-bit remixes by ValtteriValtteri24.

However for the first version i didn't replaced any fanfare or Bonus and Boss music, because they will sound strange ingame, just like in the SML2 mod. When there's someday a solution for this, i will include them in an update ;D
