Well, yeah, too many models of that size and you have developed "SMG 2... ... ... ...5: The Slideshow".

To be fair, I think reviving it is an uphill battle. I've only been around a short time, but I've read all the drama that happened.

However, I do believe that the view of "No one will use it, because no one is making levels" is a bad view, because programs that add options encourage people to design levels due to the new options they present.

The point of grinding star bits is only for the final star, for the 9999 star bits in the bank.

...granted, people will now create a thread for this every week.

I wish this thread was active enough it didn't need to be called bumping.

I'm getting a Wii U for SSB Wii U (seriously Nintendo? Too lazy to think of a name?)

But otherwise, I think it was a terrible idea, since the best games on it don't even use the Wii U pad 90% of the time.

Granted, but she dies on your honeymoon and you have to live with that. Forever.

I wish I didn't have so much stuff to do before noon.

I've been following this "argument", and I'd just like to say that I can understand both sides. StapleButter, my first impression of your second comment was that it seemed sarcastic, and it wasn't till this one that I realized it was sincere. I think that was one of the main sources of confusion.

But yeah, the entry barrier is high, but that doesn't mean we should discourage people from learning how to make basic levels. I mean, if it is hard to learn, then it is waaay harder to master. I've been working on a level since I found this site a couple months ago, and I still am nowhere near a "good" level. Or even a "finished" level.

That's Dialga and Palkia, what did you think they were?

He's referring to how stupid a cross between Rayquaza and Dialga or Palkia looked.

Congratulations, you just hopped right over that sar-chasm, and kept on going!

:3

EDIT: Also, it seemed more like they were trying to pass off those things as Rayquaza mega evolutions.

77993 KPBS (whatever that is in MBPS, I don't know) for download.

And only a shitty 4 KPBS for upload speed.
I'm on TalkTalk Fibre-Optic, by the way. Which slows me down when I browse a lot of forums at once.
I'm the bandwidth hogger, lol.

Hehe, gotta love those Kilopers byte second.

They let me bring a graphing calculator in when I took it for physics. It was hilarious because I literally had a program with all the equations where all I had to do is insert the variables and get the answers.

To be fair, I was the school's calculator wizard, and I doubt many other people took that route.

Wait, YouTube annoys you? What a surprise. I'm annoyed how my internet is shitty, therefore YouTube decided that it should give me a black video screen every time my internet cuts out. And how you can't reply to comments that are over a year or so old. And how the transparency for your avatar only shows up on G+. And how their new copyright policy works. And how there is a watch later button right next to all the things for changing quality. And how it treats 144p as an actual option when doing auto for quality. And how, if your internet cuts out but comes back quickly, all the remaining loaded video becomes 144p.

Yeah. I don't really love YouTube.

I was the school's calculator wizard

I know what you mean. My math teacher once didn't know anyone knew how to use the graphing function of his graphing calculator, so I asked for one and he gave it to me without worries. That calculator made my 1:20 test into a 40 minute test :D

Oh, but I was a wizard. It was what I did during my classes, to the point of my teachers telling my parents to stop me. But, I mean, I was just too busy making the Pokemon battle system from Gen 1!

Is that thread still accessible? It's SMG 2.5, after all.

Edit: Also, putting a ban on questions on a thread designed to inform new people seems a bit strange. I can understand wanting to keep it short and sweet, but it just seems like you're going to end up with lots of repeating PMs on stuff people aren't sure about.

So... we can't do new animations. But can we move/rotate individual objects (like moving platforms, etc)?

As an outsider who didn't witness it, the obvious reason to me had nothing to do with lack of people, but moreso a general lack of dedication. There seemed to be a lot of talk and ideas, but very little work being done.

Yeah, I believe they were missing the Mushroom models, but other than that, all the code was functional and in place.

Granted, but it only uses motion controls for everything.

I wish that I knew how to hex edit well.
