I patched my rom and didn't work, what is the name of a clean european rom, or if not, how can I check to be sure mine is?

Tried again with a bigger rom (16.8MB) and it doesn't run after the initial screen.

I think you're all just being immature. Bashing him isn't going to prove the point to him. If the project is too big for him he will quickly realize that once he makes any attempt at starting it. In addition, Messiaen made SM64 The Missing Stars by himself and Skelux solo'd his Star Road hacks as well. It can be done, just maybe unlikely. When there is no coordination, having a lot of people just helps to slow things down rather than move it along. That's what happened here with 2.5

Except messian and skelux have been shown to be really talented, i've never seen this guy do anything at all.

Messiaen was an unknown during Acmlm Board 2 & 3 incarnations which is when the most discoveries were made. The fact that he is well known now is due to the work he has put out since announcing his hack. That's not to discredit him at all, but you couldn't have guessed back in 2006-2010 that Messiaen was capable of making such a hack and creating the level importer because nobody knew who he was.

I have patched the rom with the patch in the download and STILL cannot get passed the first screen using DeSmuME. Crashes every time, this time I'm sure I had a proper rom.

I don't suppose there is a way to restore the SMG 1 like level hub? (completely do away with the Map Editor) I particularly hate the level select world map thing that Galaxy 2 has and is why though I am interested in trying out some of these tools, would probably only do so with the first Super Mario Galaxy.

That would take a LOT of Assembly to pull off, so you're better off just hacking SMG1 then 2, and this won't help you with that since it's entirely different in SMG1

I wasn't looking for the tool to be able to do it just to know if it was possible. Thanks though.
