Idk man, it just looks a bit more flat, but nothing more or less like Chrome than Firefox 39.

Nothing too special, honestly :p. Without kernel access, the fun is limited :/.
EDIT: Quick heads up for anyone having trouble installing IronHax: you need to actually run the game once in order for the installation to work. Cheers!

TheToxicRyu, would you mind sharing your awesome Kuribo64 theme? I'd love to install it. Thank you!

Just installed the IronHax version.

Now I'm good to go.

This should be fun. I always longed to play NES games again on a handheld.
Still, the emulator is missing the rewind and playback feature NesDS had.

What NES emulator do you use? That 3DSNes application isn't showing up for me. Did you find a 3dsx version somewhere? Thank you!

There is a modified version of the boot file around which fixes compatibility with several applications. It hasn't let me down, but I don't know because of what or why this works.

Do we have a Kuribo64 anthem? Something that would be fitting background music?

Smea has released a new version of the boot file to make it work again. I don't know if it will bring any improvements, but here you go!

Dire Dire Docks definitely has my vote. That theme looks really rad too.

Sure, no problem :)

(Too bad there's the BS spoiler limit. Its just a matter of time until the first post is insanely huge)

BTW, what do you use to make a preview of the theme?
The YATA+ one is kinda ugly.

You can always just create a screenshot and edit it. It's a bit of a hassle but it works, I guess :)

The 3DS can take screenshots, no? Y and then press D-Pad right. It'll be saved in DCIM on your SD card.

"In 2008, I created a PC game, and it was awesome. In 2015, I created that same game for the 3DS, and it was even more awesome."

2008. There's this dude in school who's a few years older than me. I have no idea how we got talking, but he mentions this program called "Game Maker". 8 year old me, totally amazed by this awesome find, goes home very excitedly and checks if this program actually exists. It does. It's like a dream coming true. Creating my own games, wow. Hype.

Two days later, the magnificent product called "Beertje", or simply "Bear" in English, rolls down the product line. It is the very first game ever made by me, and it looks like this:

It looks fine in native resolution, but you definitely don't want this masterpiece smeared across your 1080p monitor.

Since then, every time I learn a new language (in which you can write games), I recreate my all-time classic: Bear. There's even a port for my calculator. So here it is: bear for the 3DS.

[thumbnail][thumbnail]

The game does not support the circle pad! Play with the D-pad! The gameplay is too fast for the circle pad anyway! Press "SELECT" at any time to return to the homebrew menu.

Current known issues:
  • The music does not stream well after it loops. This is a problem with the LUA interpreter, I can't do anything about it.

And how do you plan to connect to a Windows Computer, without having a Windows Computer?

You can technically load up a VM with Windows in it. Everything is possible!

I'll scale them down. Didn't think of lower resolutions :p.

Ah, they were taken from Citra. That's why the resolution is not true to the original. The game fully works on Citra btw, it's just a bit slow.

You gain points more easily in Hard Mode. Ten times faster than in classic, to be precise!
If you want to play Hard, just hit "right" on the title screen. Expect to die a lot, though!

It's there, it's unfinished, but it's there.
