It's only piracy if he doesn't own the game, but considering he sold it, I'm not quite sure where that falls.

If he downloaded it before selling it, it's legal. If he downloaded it after selling it (not owning it anymore) it's not.

At least, I think.

I'm on Windows 7 and I have to go to the path list, manually select it, then drag each point individually to move it...is that what you mean?

Do you mean W8 lets you drag the points, or the whole path?

Upgrading to 7 or stupid8.1 was the best thing I ever did. XP was so slow, I never did care for vista that much though.

I agree, except that XP is one of the fastest OSes I have ever used And vista is by far the best for program compatibility. Basically:

If you want speed: XP
Compatibility: vista
Both (but each slightly less): 7
Retardedness: 8

I wouldn't say 7 has less compatibility than Vista. In many cases, it's more compatible with hardware than Vista.

I said if you want software compatibility use Vista.

Is it possible to move all of the SMG stuff over, or will we have to start again there?
(Also, I hope you move all of the themes there too)

This is kinda sad. There was potential, and we can't say we haven't tried.
But as I said before, the entrance barrier to SMG hacking is just too high. Basically you can't make a good (as in, considered good) level without being a professional modeler
I will archive the SMG section, either keeping it here or moving it to a separate, archive board.
SM64DS will stay. Kuribo64 will stay open and welcome you warmly as long as it'll stay alive.
If some people really feel like trying to continue SMG2.5, even though you damn well know my opinion about it, I'll provide them everything they need. The posts will stay in an archive. Whitehole's code is on Github. The last thing is the ObjectDB and I will gladly hand it over, both a SQL dump of the online version and the XML version provided with Whitehole.

Will you also give the themes that are unique to here? (PurpleNight, Nostalgia, BlargCity, GreenNight, GalaxyTheme. the NSMB themes, etc?)

Will you even be able to use the ObjectDB script? Last time it didn't work out too well.

Also, the themes specific to this site will stay here. Death of SMG2.5 doesn't mean death of Kuribo64.

I meant "copy them so the new board can have them too".

Nostalgia and Blarg City are staying here. The other ones can be copied at will. Most of them are ABXD themes anyway.

Purple Night, Green Night, Galaxy theme, and the NSMB themes aren't.

"so with the scale option you can chance marios position on the x y" - You probably just moved Mario with your mouse.

"Actually, it changes the model's position, not mario's... " - It doesn't change the position of anything. Your model may not be centered in which case it might look that way?

"so I imported it and saw nothing" -
Have you applied the model's scale within your editing program?

What program are you using to export the DAE model? If it's Blender there are a few things you may need to do to get it to export correctly.

1. yes it chances mario's position, I wanted that there was a way so I could show it to you. it is really weird.

2. see 1

3. I thought it was the normal size.

4. I think here is the mistake, I use blender.

but that mario's position chances while editing the scale must be a sort of bug.

If the model is not centered it appears to change mario's position but it's actually the model moving if you change the scale.

The whole point of New Years resolutions is so you can feel bad when you fail at keeping them.

But, I still have one, though I doubt it will happen:

Or almost. Dolphin will still require an ISO because it doesn't take Riivolution patches. We'll work on it though.
So does that mean you can't use SMGExractor for Dolphin? I need to use Dolphin for testing! D: Plus, people tell me I need to use SMGExtractor to extract the files I need to edit levels & galaxies on Whitehole, so as far as I know, I need a program, similar to WiiScrubber, that works for SMG 1 & 2 to use on a computer. Can anyone help me with that? (I know, it's a mouth-full)

If you have the iso for the game, you can use Dolphin to extract the files.

Sunshine, Galaxy 2.

When I first played SMG1, when I got to the gateway galaxy planet, I thought the bunnies were just running not hiding, so I walked all over the planet for 2 hours looking, until I gave up. And, 1 seems somehow...boring, and darker (don't you think other planets have atmospheres, nintendo?) 2 just seems more interesting and exciting for some reason. I don't know why. It just does.
