(I don't mean turn it into Super Mario Maker, just that I don't like needing 400,000 tools to do squat decently for 12 seconds, and I doubt I'm alone in that)

I know what you mean, that was a part of the motive for me to make this tool and to edit material sections of course. I have actually never quit building this tool and its not too poorly written. But its still meh compared to how I program now so meh, I will probably start working on it again... when I feel like to.

why are spoilers fucked up now? They don't hide anymore. this board got the best spoilers because you actually post a quality picture without taking the whole fucking space, but now you kinda took away the purpose of the spoiler. well done I guess

yeah pretty much saw that coming. no source and quick release. tbh I haven't tried it myself but until now its pretty much confirmed that the source code is horrible, because its rushed most likely.

Would rather wait for a stable good opensource emulator than an unstable rushed closed source one. Still props for making it sort of working I guess

someone obviously touched it while you weren't touching it

don't want to sound like a jerk but, shouldn't the editor automatically read the sprite data from the game itself and turn it into usable graphics?

because that sounds like less work than recreating every sprite I think.

Hacking is the right word for both situations. Although most people in these communities who say they "hack" actually "mod". Since they have never reached an hex editor anyway.

Yeah nobody irl cares about what I do, and when I do I say I play piano.. all day

and the DS was more powerful than an N64 but looked more pixelated due to the smaller screen..

People say that, but somehow I do not think the DS is actually more powerfull than the n64.

Could you give us a detailed description of what you do in steps. Also describe if the program shows any unusual behaviors (Like the render being in a weird color or something like that)

What do you mean with "low level emulator". How is it different from Citra?

I disagree it does. And no, the problem with making a proper soundbank is that every single sample has to be adjusted to play properly. You cannot just shove it into a SWAR and then have some generic info in the sbnk. It'll play wrong.

There's fields: attack rate, decay rate, sustain rate, release rate, pan, and first and foremost, the sample's loop point to fill into the SBNK and each SWAV. I don't have this information and finding it out would take several forevers.

I don't understand, isn't this called putting effort in your work? Everything takes time to learn, but if you do it'll pay back with quality.

lol well its not like building the whole music engine from scratch. Besides Fiachra really puts much effort into this hack by using assembly. I don't understand how that equals to importing a sequence.

cool but you forgot the most basic thing for a model. Also .obj covers every aspect of models pretty nicely, plus its in ascii
