but there seems to be a problem with the .dea or importer cause it can't find the models. that path what is says is looking weird but if I look at the last map, the textures should be in there.

the fact that the gravity affect the whole level could mabey has something to do with zones? (but I could be totally wrong). the only thing I know is that cube or disk shaped gravity controller has to be in the middle of the planet. It could be nice if we could see how far the gravity would reach.

um I can't open the AstroDome level cause the AstroDomeSkyKitchen.arc is missing. I have looked in the Iso but it doesn't exist, so I don't know if it is a whitehole issue.

If someone have the AstroDomeSkyKitchen.arc and would send it to me, I would be very thankfull :)

Ja ik heb echt gewoon astconverter 2.0 geopend en bij from ast een .ast geselecteerd bijv. SMG_astrodome02_strm.ast, daarna klik ik op mp3 en dan converteren. en ja, dan krijg je zo'n JIT error waar niemand een oplossing voor heeft. :/

oke that .dae importing is very buggy. I don't know if it is blender but there is something wrong. and after you imported a wrong .dae you can delete the rom because every single import in the further on that rom will be disturbed. I will give you later the how and what, its very complicated.

I don't want to say its a bad idea but there are some bad points to it:

the reason I could think of that we use designers creators and stuff is because we want it to looking good and professional, I don't know if you ever have looked to the mario kart CTGP but 95% of the tracks are a few polygons what are barely set in to each other.

the reason that happends is because most of people don't have an idea and just start to create something. that's why there are designers, they know how to make a good playing level and to make it not to big or to wide. if some of them would create a planet it would be very ugly looking. and that's why we have the creators, they can make it to reality.

However you can try it of course but Nintendo and all other companies do this the way we would do it now. that is really the best way to make together a good game.
