There's no reason that the NTSC-U patch shouldn't be working. Several people (including me, of course) used it just fine.

It is working. I have no idea what made Aurum think it didn't. In fact, I successfully combined it with an early attempt, resulting in Ice Mario loading InvincibleMarioHandL/R instead of IceMarioHandL/R. Fun! If only they were green for Luigi...

I think yes. There is a gecko code for SMG which makes you able to cycle through all powerups with the 1 and 2 buttons without needing to add them to a galaxy.

WHERE IS THAT CODE STILL AVAILABLE!?!?! I had it a while agom, but I never saved a .txt and later overwrote the GCT, then I looked all over and couldn't find it anywhere!

Oh, I thought you were talking about the (seemingly lost to time) SMG2 version, which was the only way to transform into Flying Mario in SMG2 without using riivolution. I knew where the SMG1 version was. Yeah...let's get back on topic...

Using that value will actually create what I call Hyper Mario. It allows Mario to run really fast, but doesn't give him invincibility. I was trying to make Hyper Mario into its own powerup, but there was no way I found to only trigger the increased speed.

In case you weren't aware, custom player models still are not possible. I had a theory on replacing the face a while back, but I doubt it would work for Waluigi purposes. It seems that the characters' faces are not rigged, meaning they can (in theory) be replaced with any model, custom or not. It would be hard to get everything right, though.

I see. Oh well, this still looks cool. It would be nicer with a actual Waluigi model, though.

I'm sure that SOMEDAY it will be possible. And when that day comes...a lot of extremely peculiar hacks will come into existence, provided the community hasn't moved on my then.

:D I'm sure people will appreciate that! Ironically, your retexture is actually BETTER than the one in the video - yours has a custom lives counter icon! By the way, you might want to use TPL_to_PNG rather than the Ctools application, so that the icon doesn't get tiled oddly and shifted to the right.

Hey, I'm fairly new to creating Custom SMG2 levels and such, and I am trying to link up killing 6 Hammer Bros. to a Extermination Switch. The Extermination Switch needs to have the l_Id the same as the enemies GeneratorID but on Whitehole v1.2 and v1.3 I can't seem to find the l_Id setting for the Extermination Switch. Am I Missing something or am I just blind?

I know you can use Anarchy to change the l_Id but once you save it with Anarchy, you can't reopen the level with Whitehole. (Found that out the hard way...)

You're not blind. Everyone stumbles here. In Whitehole, it's called the Object_ID...Or Obj_ID - I don't remember for sure. Same value, different label. I know, confusing. Don't feel bad, almost everyone gets tripped up by that. Also, there IS a way to make Anarchy-edited levels Whitehole compliant, but it needs to be repeated after every Anarchy edit, and IDK what it is.

That type of thing worked better for cosmic Mario, but then again, It had all the same bones and such. Did you just replace the bdls or did you include some other files and such?

OH MY GAWD!!! Wow, you are AMAZING at this game. Thank you for crediting me for my part. I appreciate that. I could barely beat 3 Bouldergeists with 6 lufe Wedges! And you beat 6 Bouldergeists with 3!?! I'm impressed. I was a tad worried that you hadn't done anything about the ExterminationSwitch, but I see you did. I'm going to disagree with Tahcryon, and say that while a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth a thousand pictures, and thusly a million words.

I'm not being negative. It gets horribly annoying with the same people doing the same duplicating from SMG1 over and over again. It's been repeated over and over again throughout SMG's hacking scene timeline. I'd rather see something new.

and if it does sound negative, uh, whoops. Didn't mean to.

Well, a little more emphasis on what you'd want instead, and BOOM - Constructive Criticism! I guess it's just StapleButter who, for some reason, seems to hate Galaxy Hacker. At the very least, his purple coins on Honeyclimb was a pretty original idea, wasn't it?
