Where on my SD-card should I place the PoltaZone folder?

The StageData Directory (sd:/riivolution/PATCHDIR/StageData), where PATCHDIR is the directory of your patch. It doesn't technically HAVE to be in riivolution, but I have yet to do a PATCHDIR outside of riivolution.

Try to fix the block alignment, but that part isn't the easiest, I'll grant you. If that can help you, Whitehole lets you fine-tune object coordinates in the left panel.

Just try to make it less hard. There are parts where the player can't see where they should go. Unintuitive level design is bad. But since fixing cameras to give a better view isn't the easiest thing, I'd recommend you modify the level design to make it more intuitive. And/or add coins to guide the player.

Oh and about the enemies: try to use enemies that fit well within the level's theme, if you see what I mean. Boos don't fit well in this level.

Maybe tell him what WOULD work in beat block? (e.g. Choppahs, octoombas)

It's not PatchDir on everybody's riivolution.

That was an example. I'll fix that. It isn't PATCHDIR on mine!

Lol. I might really have to finish XMLGui. I can also try to move it to Dolphiilution.

Is moving files to the right folders that hard?

I didn't think so BUT...(see post above)

This is nice! I remember someone (Polari, I think) commissioned me to do this and I didn't know how. Nice to know you managed to do it.

It was simple - I LITERALLY JUST PLACED ANOTHER POLTA OBJECT. That got it working. I then set both of their Generator_IDs to 42, set their SW_DEAD ids to -1, added an ExterminateSwitch, set it's Object_ID to 42, set it's SW_A to 1020, and set the Launch Star's SW_APPEAR to 1020. Simple. But I'm glad you like it. I hope that explanation was helpful.

Umm...you might want to be a bit more specific than "the process takes long to complete." I thought you meant closer to 3 hours than 3 DAYS. It's been going for THREE DAYS now, saying "Dump Successful!y Mounted. Now dumping." It actually says Successful!y, not Successfully. I'm using an NTSC-U SMG1 Disc, and told it to extract "the bare minimum." Is something wrong?

P.S. In the GUI it still calls you Mega-Mario. Admittedly, StapleButter is a much more memorable name.

I haven't been able to find any of them. The ones I DID find links to were all dead pages...as in ERROR 404. Does anyone have an archived version of one of them or a good enough understanding of the process to create a new one?

If it had been doing that without showing WHAT its extracting say /objectdata/kuribo.arc It means its not dumping. So try it again. Three days?, letting it run for that long without turning it of",f must surely be bad for it.

Yeah. I just checked it...FAILED. I knew I should've ripped an ISO and extracted the files with Dolphin. The tool was a great Idea, and I hope it works for everyone else. Just my luck. I'm not a beleiver of superstitions normally, but a black cat walked past me as I walked home, just hours before starting the extraction. Hmm...

...No, that's just an old folktale.

It's not that difficult, if you have the format for the TEX1 section, all you're doing is changing the data. http://www.amnoid.de/gc/bmd.txt That has the header and then after it is just a bti with CMPR compression, which you can easily make with SZS Explorer. Basically you change the image however, open up SZS Explorer, create a new archive, right click it in that left column, hit import, import an existing BTI (Here's one if you need it), right click that, something I don't remember exactly what because I can't check because it doesn't work on this, something by right clicking it and editing using the BTI editor, and then using the menu, import the new image and make sure it's set to CMPR, save, then right click it again and save the new one (it should match the preview in the middle bottom of the window) and then use MN1's handy command line importer to replace it in the BDL. It should be self explanitory, it gives you help and all the commands. But if for whatever reason MN1's editor doesn't work, then you have to replace it manually in a hex editor, hence linking the header for the TEX1 section. Here's the BTI format if you need it for reference. http://www.amnoid.de/gc/bti.txt - of course this is really hackish, I can write a proper tutorial if I ever get SZS Explorer working.

That made NO sense. Maybe I should just stick to custom models.

Could it have something to do with the CAMERA in the .blend file?

So this is rather pathetic but I'm trying to learn whitehole/level creation so I've been doing some tests. So currently I've made a little progress on this rather pathetic Flip Swap edit. I'm testing with dolphin and everything works just fine (I can't test on the wii because I don't have one up at school). I'll be posting more as I figure out more parts of whitehole. Expect a launch star and some gravity.

FOR ONCE, A FLIP-SWAP REPLACEMENT THAT IS STILL FLIP-SWAP!!!!! (The one for SMG2.5 was WAY too hard) Will probably download when this comes out! (excited)

Do it works with two Major Burrows?

No. It's two BOULDERGEISTS. I HATE Major Burrows's boss fight. I will NOT add another one, especially given how delicate the pathfinding could be...designed for that EXACT planet to start at that EXACT location...? Either way, I will not do that. If you try, good luck and may the ExterminationSwitches be with you.

https://kuribo64.net/?page=thread&id=1423 Here's a proper tutorial with actual pictures this time. Of course, it assumes you know how to use the command prompt and run scripts, but if you're creating custom models then I shouldn't have to worry about that.

Man, I din't even notice there was no stems! :P I liked it with stems, but it is your choice to decide! It's just a little weird that the petals float in the air, but wan't there a planet that also did that in that SMG galaxy that was the opposite of honey hive?

Gold Leaf Galaxy. It's called the Gold Leaf Galaxy.

I may add how to patch it in manually if pytex1 doesn't work for whatever reason, which sometimes it does.

Please do!!
