You might want to add that it actually works for SMG1 and SMG2.

Why? Launch stars are spectacular (my opinion)

Agreed.

I edited the Mario object from SMG1's ObjectData. I dunno if it works in SMG2.

I was implying that it does. I tested it in SMG2, and it works.

Same. (Probably should add something to this post to make it more origanal, so... Umm... How's progress?)

Progress is...occurring. Slowly, because Aurum and I both have school to worry about, and because I'm also involved in some non-SMG2 projects (namely some Spore mods), but progress is happening. No matter what happens, this hack will be completed. I don't care what happens, I'll finish it myself if I have to, but it will be finished.

Of course it would, the Mario model is almost a direct copypaste.

Yes, almost. SMG2's Mario model is...less compliant to pyTEX1, it seems. The SMG2 model cannot have the eyelids and face textures both patched. Judging by this, the SMG1 model can. Either that, or the PAL model is different from the NTSC-U model.

You seem determined, which is a good thing. :)

That's the one reason I was able to Start hacking SMG2. It took me 2 YEARS to get started, but I kept at it, and I got there...evidently.

This may seem like a very stupid question but how exactly do I load a SMG hack on my Wii/Wii U? I recently installed The Homebrew Channel and some other stuff(Emulators and the patch to go on Wiimmfi) but how? I've never really stepped into the modding/hacking world that much, so what do I exactly do?

That isn't a stupid questiin at all. It would only be stupid if you didn't ask. It took me 2 years to figure out the answer. Let me save you the time and trouble by telling you. You'll need a homebrrw app called Riivolution, and a patch XML for it to read. I think there's a template somewhere here on Kuribo64. If you know XML, modifying the XML template to suit your needs and to simultaneously run multiple hacks will become easy.

Well, I don't know XML... I guess I'll go install Riivolution now.

Eh, it's not hard. I taught myself! Mind you, that was for an entirely different purpose (Spore Modding), and it was a coincidence that my XML skills would later benefit me in Wii game hacking. I don't just hack the SMG games, but also NSMBW, and I'm the first person ever to hack Spore Hero...atleast, the first person to modify that game's files. Okay, enough metaphors. My point is, XML is not as hard as it may appear. All you beed in order to teach yourself is a bit of time (doesn't have to be all at once) and some persistence.

Small preview on a new planet I made. I came up with the idea in my art lesson :3

The thing on the right side is the low model. Also, damn Sketchup rendering ._.

GorogoroAlpha and GorogoroPairAlpha are unused objects and they work like Gorogoro and GorogoroPair.
EDIT: This means that we can have gray and...brown Rhomps :3

Those exist? And they're FUNCTIONAL!?!?!
That makes me want to [image], to an extent. Wait...what if we...[SECRET IDEA IS SECRET] MUAHAHAHAHA HAAHAHAHAHA *repeated painful coughing* eh...enough evil laughter. You get the idea.

you do not even need a sphere from mario galaxy itself, you can just create whatever you want.

But then scale is a problem.

Yeah, would be better if you resize the pics Splitz ^^

Also, screenshots. Impossible, because Dolphin runs very slow and the "Without ISO" method doesn't work for me.

I (still) have a method of taking screenshots on console. PM me the planet and galaxy and I'll grab a screeny or 2 of it, kay?

there is this magic option in whitehole, which lets you scale the models you made. do I sound to mean?

There is this cursed behavior of skyboxes in Super Mario Galaxy 2, which makes the skybox not render in-game if you scale it to anything other than 1 or 3 on all axes.

Is it possible to change the players model? See my video:

There I had a cheat code that did Mario to skeleton. The skeleton had an another model than Mario so does it work with other models?

Not really (sadly), but I once managed to successfully replace mario's face with another model, the game didn't care that the rigging was completely different. For the longest time, I've been meaning to replace Mario with a Xenomorph (WARNING:BIG HEAD BECAUSE OVERLAPPING MODELS) and retexture Bowser to look like a Yautja...

Almost like 1.1, but no deleting bug and it can't add paths and CAN'T even EDIT existing paths

I use 1.3...for PATH EDITING. Eh, 1.3.1, to be exact. Don't forget to add 1.3.1 if that's a difference between 1.3.1 and 1.3!

That's what Whitehole 1.1.2 is :P I just named it like that because it was patching v1.1 since it was stable. Vertex colors are working and everything.

Is that so? I might just switch to 1.1.2 (especially if it allows path point dragging on Windows 8.1)!

No no no. 1.1.2 can't do everything; it can't add paths or edit areas. It would be good if it could do it.
Also, path editing with 1.1.2 work on my Windows Vista.

Those are things that I currently do with Anarchy, anyways.
