That...plus tr@sh...plus adding Topmaniac to ObjNameTable (I think I found some mention of him in SMG2's Main.DOL)...plus one of my schtoopidly illogical workarounds for the Electrical rotate path sphere things...equals Battlerock SMG2 Edition? And is actorInfo specific to each object, or like PlanetMapDataTable?

I think BlueChip's problem is that the code of BlueChipGroup has been removed, as I can't find a string for this.

BlueChip itself doesn't show in-game. Wait, waaaiiit...what if the code is there, but not the ObjNameTable thing entries? Someone try that. IDK where this mysterious table is.

Yep the file is completely unused. The file is outdated though, as objects like Poihana (Cataquack) don't have code anymore.

What did you think it would be used for? :P The only thing I would think it might be used for is a lookup in the dol to switch between japanese and english names, but other then that, yeah, it's unused. I honestly have no idea why it's there.

I thought it was basically a ProductMapObjDataTable for...things that have code. Clearly I am stupid.

This makes me want to make an underwater fire galaxy...if that makes any sense. I are going to do that now. A few improvements I'd like to see: The thing about Cheep-Cheeps made no sense, and if you could release those test planets, that would be great.

I think he means that nobody cares about hacking SMG1, not the actual game. I care about it too.

My first (unreleased) Hacks were for SMG1. I was obsessed with reimplementing unused stuff, and I had some ideas that were...outside of the box.

I wasn't saying that :P I like SMG1 more then SMG2 as a game because of the Comet Observatory, that was my first big project after I figured out model importing. I meant for hacking it, the system it has is so terrible it's not worth trying. Also, v0.6 worked just fine for opening it, IDK what version you're using, but it should be that one because 0.7 is bugged.

I use 0.6 as well o_O

Removed the Cheep-Cheep part. It was just saying that surface swimming Cheep-Cheeps swim on the surface of your water regardless of where you place them and their paths.

Really the outliner stuff should just be built into Whitehole. I had modified the AreaCubeRenderer class as a test to get Area rendering somewhat accurate, but I haven't looked too far into the inner workings of the Whitehole source to really make anything meaningful.

All there is to do to help us fill in those gaps, is to ask Nintendo for that E3 demo and info. Seems rather challenging. Well, the E3 demo part anyway, I don't why they would lend us a copy without a large sum of money or just at all for secrecy purposes. BUT, I might be able to word it right so its friendly and fan-ish (like it should be), but not too sweet. Ill see if I can write a letter (finally) or an E-mail to Nintendo to see if I can purchase it or something. If I get it, Ill rip it right away. If that doesn't work, Ill see If I can get you guys to help with a letter.

Sorry If the paragraph above sounds kinda selfish, but you guys are free to do whatever. Its not like I want you to let me hog the game, I would be just as fine to play on Emulator if you guys got a copy. (I know with the whole piracy thing it gets hard, but I would like a copy).

Perhaps this would finally solve the mystery of the so-called Sky Island galaxy and the music scrambling, if we get what was in the trailer (Spin Switches, VERY EARLY beta Yoshi Star and Hightail falls, etc). While you're at it, do you think you could inquire about SMG1 E3 2006 Star World? Or would that be pushing it?

...Also, it's not illegal piracy, because those betas are abandonware...along with all wii games now, IIRC. Thusly you could (and indeed should IMO) distribute them, and you can do so legally.

Good idea, I was going to add that ;), cause I think from the actual trailer, there was stuff shown that was inside that E3 disc that wasn't shown when played. Also, when playing the beta, if you press 1 and 2 at the same time when the title screen starts coming on, you "unlock" two extra galaxies. I haven't found any video evidence on what they actually are, so that's also a mystery.

I just got back from camping yesterday, so I'm gonna try writing it up today. Does anyone know how to Email/write to Nintendo?

Even though email is easier, I want to go from the written letter perspective first. Then maybe a group E-mail or something.
