The instruments are orchestrated.

Eh, alright. I just wanted to stay faithful to E3 2006 'Star World', which used synthesized instruments, but either way, it's better than gusty garden! (for this purpose, atleast)

it was probably synthesized because the composer already composed the song but they didn't yet played it with real instruments. that is my theory...

I know, and I liked that about 'Star World', it was...[ahem], unique...in a good way.

(the discussion so far)

Think about a Tron-ish galaxy featuring Dash Yoshi while listening to this:

Once you've done that, do it again with the song playing at 1.25x speed.

Got CircleStrawberry working! It crashes the game, because it Effect entries have been removed. I added them back to the game and it works. I think this also is TreasureBoxCracked's problem.

WOOOO!!!!!!!

Some effects like star glittering and file select effects look messed up.

From my experience, all particles do, some more than others. It's like every particle was cut into thin slices along one axis, and every second slice was shifted to the left. Also, some have their leftmost edges cut off and placed on their right.

SMG1 has some unused message IDs. The most of them are linked to empty strings. I think the TicoJii strings have text which only exists in the Japanese version.
AstroGalaxy_TicoJii000 (ID 356)
AstroGalaxy_TicoJii001 (ID 357)
AstroGalaxy_TicoJii002 (ID 358)
CubeBubbleExDZone_SignBoard000 (ID 485)
GalaxyNameShort_E3HeavenlyBeachGalaxy (ID 703) = Beach Bowl
GalaxyName_E3HeavenlyBeachGalaxy (ID 752) = Beach Bowl Galaxy
GlassyTwinsPlanetZone_Kinopio000 (ID 883)
GlassyTwinsPlanetZone_Kinopio001 (ID 884)
GlassyTwinsPlanetZone_Kinopio002 (ID 885)
InformationObserverPointer (ID 1114)
ScenarioName_E3HeavenlyBeachGalaxy1 (ID 1978)
ScenarioName_RedComet (ID 2050)
ScrewFleetZone_TicoFat000 (2080)

FUN FACT: Ever wondered what happend if you get 0 purple coins in Battle Rock or Dreadnought Galaxy?
"You got zero. ZERO PURPLE COINS!
Tell me you're doing that on purpose!
This old iron lady isn't amused."

The unused text for Ticoji, I'm pretty sure that was already documented on tcrf (don't quote me on that, I could be wrong), but the other stuff is a nice find! GlassyTwinsPlanetZone has text for the toads, yay! What does it say? The stuff it did in 'Star World'?

Hmmm...finally I found a program that dumps the content of a AW file, but most of the sound is corrupted :/

Here's your answer. IDK where I found it...some little-known forum the name of which I have forgotten.

Steps to use:

1. Extract that ZIP to a folder
2. Put your AW file(s) in the folder
3. Rename 'RUN.txt' to 'RUN.bat' and run it
4. ???
5. PROFIT!!!

Well Gimp worked making Sketchup export a PNG, but now when I try obj2bdl, I get the same error but the last line says:

Exception: could not load image AtomicHillsP1/Material3.png

Check that the texture is present in the correct location.

Okay I fixed it. I had to put the textures in a folder. Blame it on being gone for a half a year? :P
Thanks to all who helped.

Glad it's fixed :D.

Does anyone know how to change the curve in paths?

In other words, how do I change a straight path into a curved path for a Launch Star?

Use the Control 1/2 X/Y/Z fields. Fiddle with them, until you get something close to your objective. Then, fine-tune, making backups after every improvement, and before making further changes. Keep doing this until you are either satisfied with the result, or get frustrated with the fiddly-ness of the coordinate controls. This is the one place where Windows 8 users have an advantage, as only they can see the path point boxes, thusly only they can drag them. Windows 1.0 - 7 and Windows 8.1< users will have to delicately fiddle with the coordinates. Hope this helps.

Uh, what? No. There are Whitehole versions that let Windows 7 and under users drag path points...

Well unless you mean Whitehole 1.4 has been released, or there was a Whitehole 0.8, then that's news to me. Does that feature work on Windows 8.1? WHERE'S THE DOWNLOAD!?!?!

Path point boxes? You mean the boxes you can click and drag? I have Windows 7 and can see and use them.

Lucky. You actually have an operating system that deserves to exist. I'm stuck with 8.1. It's...TERRIBLE [shudders]. Don't get 8.1 if SMG2 hacking matters to you and/or if you play [image]

How did I miss them in there? Are the files in a known format?

The faster boss themes are unused, as those bosses don't get "angry".

I found out how much nintendo sped up the normal versions to make the fast versions: in Windows Live Movie Maker, it's 1.05x. I still really like the fast Digga-Leg music.

BombLauncher is another working object. This one spawns deactivated Bob-Ombs.

The ones from the Bob-Omb trash planet game thing? Also, where is the ActorInfo?
