Good post. I dont think the priorty has to be a certain number, as long as its higher, the gravity will affect mario. A gravity with a lesser priority will have no power inside the range of the gravity with a higher priority. I think, but dont know for sure.
Edit: inverse is useful for spherical and disk gravities you guys know or can guess its use....... :)

Sorry for the bump, but I found this:

By Christopher MacManus, CNET

A heartwarming story out of Hugo, Colo., tells a tale of how a 10-year-old boy saved his great grandmother and brother's life after she passed out behind the wheel of their vehicle going 60 miles per hour. Where did his driving expertise come from? Mario Kart, naturally.

Denver NBC affiliate KUSA has the report on how young Gryffin Sanders became a hero in the throes of chaos. Last Friday, everything seemed normal for the boy and his family until their vehicle crossed the center lane and beelined straight into oncoming traffic. The car also contained his 4-year-old brother.

"My first thought was actually, is this a test or what?" Sanders said. "My heart was thumping.

The situation truly was a test, as his great grandmother lost control after what may have been a mild heart attack. After trying to wake her up, Sanders took the wheel and steered the vehicle toward a ditch full of mud. According to KUSA, Sanders told reporters that he got his driving skills from playing Mario Kart.

Fortunately, due to his brave actions, the car came to a stop, and KUSA reports that there were no injuries in the accident.

These days, you can't go too long without hearing something about the negative impact of video games on impressionable minds -- but as Gryffin Sanders shows us, there's plenty of positives that can derive from gaming, too.

Whether this is true or not I'm not sure, but it is interesting :P

These textures are similar or could even be the same.

Actual texture from peach's castle (red shingles):

See any anything interesting?

Woah, ssl pretty nice and unexpected. I really like how you did this, here's an idea for a level: Silver Stars in the Pyramid. (That is, if you also have the inside pyramid model.)

That would require a pipe and the inside model somewhere else in the galaxy since SMG2 doesn't use warp areas like in SMG.
The inside model is absolutely huge compared to the outside model of the pyramid. It wouldn't fit inside. But good idea. I like it :)

Sorry for double post

You could fit Squizzard in the eyerock arena, or find a way to put him on a different planet, through launch star at the top of the pyramid. anyway Squizzard might not be the best idea for this level. The red coins we used in Planet Plains might be good to use though.

Stuff you don't see in SMG(2):

Hidden Spikes?:

Oh, these are the spikes (still pretty hidden though):

The side you never see in Yoshi star:

Edit: cutoff of Honeyclimb galaxy, the low model doesn't have this, so this is never seen in gameplay:

More will be added soon and I will be doing a "what power-ups/other stuff can affect enemies and you" list.

What I thought would be a good galaxy sky, is that VRSandwichSun (the one found in Melty Molten). Or the one found in that DemoEpilouge stage, or the on found in the final bowser. and a purple hole foumd in Peachs Castle Galaxy. It could cover some area maybe?

SMG1

Buoy Base
Buoy Base Underwater
Beach Bowl
Bowser Jr Airship Battle
Bouldergiest
Melty Molten
Purple Coins

SMG2

Credits theme
Fluffy Bluff
Battle Belt
Rainbow Mario
Fire Mario
Wild Glide
Fleet Glide
Main Theme (not Skystation)
Freezy Flake
Digga leg
Clockwork Ruins
World 7
N64 Whomps Fortress
Hightail Falls
Spin Dig

I like well orchestrated, somewhat catchy, and lots of instruments that work well together. These songs meet at the very least, a few of these criteria. I cant for some reason, exactly explain why I like the songs. I'll have a brainstorm and I'll fill the specific reasons in later

I didn't see any of these around so I decided to make one

I thought we could maybe show a few more completed galaxies in the trailer that might not be in the actual SMG2.5, but will be available for download. (these galaxies would have been made by members of K64). There might be extra galaxies that can be made/finished from now and between when we shoot the second trailer. Im not saying we HAVE to make extra galaxies, but if there are good ones, we should include those.

This is just a suggestion so I'd like to see your feedback on it

If you've got any, I'd like to see what yours are :)
Don't go thinking I'm trying to take any authority here, I just want a thread that might have good ideas.

Please give feedback :)

Yeah, very good Crashdance.

Cosmic Clones limit is something like 74-100, but the wii crashes anywhere after fifty
