Post your Designs and Concept Art for Rolling Rough Galaxy here. This galaxy should be based off of a mini golf course, most of it can have a wooden and mechanical planets. Look at minigolf courses to get ideas for these planets. MAybe star one could be the first 9 holes and star 2 be the second 9.

This is based off of Martboo 48's discovery that you can control 4 Mario's at once, you can see in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZB7ceZtCOHk. So the level will have two sides probably but there will be differences in both sides to make it more difficult, such as hills or gaps to jump over.

This is a galaxy based off of towers, it can either have multiple towers or one giant one, if it is one though we need to fully explore the tower, both inside and out. Maybe we can throw in a puzzle or two involving going inside and out of the tower.

Some of the main ways we could make this work is with objects like the clouds before you fight King Lakitu. Those clouds start out white and normal, but with the use of a switch they move and become electric and deadly (and yes, touching them DOES electrocute you).

Beyond this, we could also turn rain on and off using the rain from Space Storm, as well as switch between backgrounds throughout the level. There would even be an area that would use the "Step to the Beat music" with the level switching between cloudy and sunny. Every time the level becomes cloudy, electric shooters turn on and the clouds turn electric and move into your path.

The level structure at its most basic would be akin to Shiverburn. You'd start out on a grassy, sunny planet, and somewhere in the area you'd find a switch. Upon hitting the switch, the galaxy would become dark and rainy, but suddenly plants would appear and vines would sprout from the ground, allowing you to reach the next planet.

After that, there would be some more platforming puzzles with the rain, either requiring you to stop the rain (electric clouds blocking your path) or start it again.

We could also maybe import the rainclouds from SMG1 for effect.

The purpose of this galaxy is to contrast sunny from rainy, some possible ways are having a planet with sun on one side and rain on the other, or part of a planet is hit by sun and the other is hit by rain. One of my personal ideas that I want to include is that there is arather main planet that has drought on one side and too much rain on the other.

Post you designs and concepts for Retro Remix Galaxy here. This galaxy is based off of old games therefore we don't have to actually design the levels only make 3D models and put objects in them. The first star is gong to be based off of a SMW level, the second star is going to be Bob-Omb battlefield, and the third is going to be a SMS level, all of which will be voted on when candidates are picked

Star 1: Topman Blitzkrieg
Mario lands on the bizarre world of Shrapnel Sandbar, and quickly realizes the sandy galaxy is more than meets the eye. Turns out, it was once a munitions factory that cranked out Bowser's bullet bills, until the grand star powering it collapsed, and ripped it apart. Now, its a wrecked wasteland, littered with derelict machinery, and loads of fully operational banzai and bullet bill launchers. Oh, and there's one other thing: The Topmen are invading! with hopes of stealing the collapsed grand star in the heart of the crumbling factory, and using it as a power source for one of their dastardly projects. Shrapnel Sandbar's automated defenses are putting up a good fight, and Mario is caught in the crossfire!

Star 2: Beneath the Dunes
Mario returns to Shrapnel Sandbar, and this time must break into the dark, warped underside of the galaxy's main planet to rescue a band of stranded Gearmos, whose ship was shot down during the topman assault.

Star 3: Kingbill's Countdown
The prototype kingbill has been activated accidentally be the Gearmos, and is now preparing to launch at a neighboring galaxy! Mario must infiltrate the rusty prototype housing facility, and shut it down before it's too late!

Post your concepts and designs for Solar Coaster Galaxy here. this galaxy will most likely involve dash yoshi and a lot of ideas from theme parks, also if you have seen the show "Wipeout" you could probably get some ideas from that as well. There should also probably be a slide of some sort somewhere in this galaxy. I do not think we should use the starball in this galaxy because we already have two starball galaxies, but I could be over-ruled.

Post your Level Designs and concepts for Warped Warzone Galaxy here. This level is based on two ships battling in space. therefore we can explore the outside inside of the ships as well as the area between the two.

The middle of the ships could be an asteroid field with some planetoids with valuable resources while navigating this asteroid field Mario must avoid traps setup by both armies and the constant onslaught of cannonballs and bullet bills and other projectiles.

Post your concept art for Warped Warpzone Galaxy here. Well this will be a primarily metallic galaxy. What should the ships be like though, I'd say a Star Wars Star Trek feel, for ways of relating it to Mario look at galaxies like Dreadnought and Fleet Glide.

Post your ideas and designs for Ground Growth Galaxy here. This galaxy goes on the concept found in Supermassive where all the flowers grow as you walk around. This makes a whole galaxy out of it, so we should start with a barren wasteland that becomes more and more beautiful as mario explores and goes over the barren ground. Some possible ideas are pirana plants sprouting up as mario explores the galaxy and vines to reach new areas and floaty fluffs to go to new planets.

Post your concepts and ideas for Bowser's Bullet Base here. This galaxy will be based around lava and bullets, I'd say we make a revised version of my old Lava Lair design except using more bullets. Check the old forum for that. Also we should try to work in Glem3's Bowser's castle model used in the trailer (probably somewhere in the background).

Well I might as well post all the progress made on the model up to now, there is a lot of progress to post! The level is almost done all I need to do is make another small planet and touch up this one and then I'll post the whole design for star 1 (hopefully tomorrow).

Also I learned how to texture well in blender, so it is all textured for you!
