Okay,

I really want to make moving to kuribo productive and quick. I have one problem with moving the design threads, most of them only say, "post your level designs here" or "post your concept art here" they give no insight to how the actual level is going to look feel and have what gimmicks. Any new member may not know about the level as a whole and may work on something that isn't correct.

Instead of posting your one sentence posts about the level, please look at the thread from back on the old board and summarize it and give credit where credit is deserved (this includes just copy pasting old posts). We want the move to be productive so starting the level design forums over again. Also for any new posts you are making for a galaxy, if there is a thread for it already here, post it here instead of on the old forum, or post it both places to make sure everyone sees your design/art :) .

So lets get working on moving threads, we should try our best to have everything done by the new year.

Post your ideas and designs for Toxic Terror galaxy here. This is a swamp based galaxy, therefore we should have aspects of previous toxic and swamp levels. Maybe aspects of Hazy Maze Cave and that swamp level with the bubble in Galaxy 1. We may include mushrooms, and a giant above ground swamp would be great.

Post your level designs and ideas for Misty Peaks Galaxy here. This is an ice level based off of mountains and ice.

Here are some previous ideas for this galaxy.


Astroluma - To have metallic aspects occasionally in the galaxy and Barron Burr potentially

NWPlayer123 - to have a large ice slide similar to Slipsand Galaxy, that you slide down on from the top of a mountain.

Glem3 - To have a chomps with snowball models over them to have snowballs on the mountain, and the Rhomps with piles of snow.

gc - to have the slide go to a new area after climbing a large mountain (could be used after a mini boss battle).

MoreCowbell - Have parts of the level resemble a ski resort


Well these are all good concepts, someone should be able to make an awesome design out of all of these.

Post your ideas and designs for Flarefrost Galaxy here. This is a fire and ice galaxy, something that both galaxy games has had, both of which are unique in their own ways, so we need to have our own unique one as well.

Here are the past ideas for this galaxy:


Glem3 -Have the galaxy take place between two meteors, one fire and one ice

Polari -Volcano with an ice ring around it.

gc-an ice or lava slide throughout part of the level, that slowly changes to the other element as it approaches the other comet.

LordFalcon -Switching around the roles of the ice and fire, potentially a fortress that has both fire and ice

NSK/Agent000 -King Kaliente battle except with ice platforms forming in the lava from the ice drop platforms. There should be additional platforms because that idea may be too difficult for World 2.

MoreCowbell -The ice slide except you use an ice flower to freeze the water that forms as well as the lava.


The fire and ice galaxies have been some of my favorite in the galaxy games, so we should try our best to make this one just as good.

I say we should have the slide that starts as ice, then further down as it gets closer to the fire side of the level it turns into water and Mario gets an ice flower to skate with, and then it turns into lava with more ice flowers.

Post your ideas and designs for Gliding Canyon Galaxy here. This is a fluzzard level so it will be designed differently, and take place in between a canyon.Some ideas for this level include:

Glem3 -Having rock formations stick out of the walls for Mario to avoid, and maybe a thin part of the canyon that will be difficult to fly through.

LordFalcon -Having the collapsing pillars from Fleet Glide with a new model for making them look like collapsing pillars.

gc -Having a boost ring that is necessary to avoid a falling pillar.

Post your designs and concepts for Bowser's Gravigen Extractor here. This level is based around gravity as opposed to lava, so we need it to revolve around gravity instead. One idea is a giant machine that sucks gravity from planets and you use giant tubes from it to traverse the galaxy.

Post you concept art for Bowser's Gravigen Extractor here. This is Bowser's first level so he needs a memorable appearance. Remember this isn't based upon lava so we shouldn't have as much as usual. Also the gravity extractor needs to look intimidating.

Post ideas and designs for Size Switchup Galaxy here. This galaxy is similar to the Tiny Huge island with a section of the galaxy being small and another being big and a section to get in between the two. Maybe each planet can have a switch that has a launch star appear on each version of the planet. So when something is too large on one version or too small on the other Mario can find the switch and go to the other planet to get past an obstacle.
