I like the ideas here a lot, but I have another idea for another planet in this galaxy. What if we put boo mushroom in here and then you can pass through mirrors and get to new parts on the planet?

What if we made a mirror maze where you can see the launch star in a window(you need a boo mushroom to go through the window). However, the window is protected by these spotlights which turn boo mario into normal mario. In the maze, you have to find a switch to deactivate the spotlights and then you need to find a boo mushroom to get to the launch star

I know boo mario sounds weird, but having it in a mirror maze where it can pass through windows, but not through mirrors can have a nice effect on the maze i think.

I'd like to see a secret star in the design of hodgepodgenine. You would need to find a secret path in the dense forest while sliding down the mountain and that path will be even more difficult and when you complete that, you can find a secret star

I'm feeling very stupid now, but I'm making a design for mirror madness and I can't seem to find out how I can insert an image from a file on my computer. When I click image, [img][/img) appears, but whatever I put between those, the image won't appear. Can anyone please help?

Hello everybody,
I'm Streetie and I give you my first design!
I'll do this design like I've seen others do it. I'll post the main ideas and a planet I made and then you can help me with designing the other planets by giving me details on the main idea for that planet.

Here is my design:

Star 1-Mirror House O fun

When mario flies towards this galaxy, he sees a big house, which he enters through a pipe(like in rightside down galaxy). Inside the house, he sees himself and he wonders how. Then he realizes, he has entered a mirror maze(although it is quite an easy one). He walks around for a bit, but he can't seem to find a launch star to proceed. Then he finds a switch(number 1 in the drawing) and he hits it. A boo mushroom appears after that(boo mushroom with number 1 in the drawing). He wonders how this will help him and then he notices rooms behind glass windows. He passes through them with his boo power-up. Mario notices another window, but this one is blocked by a spotlight, which means he can't pass it before that light is turned of. Therefore, he needs to find another switch(number 2 in the drawing), which will deactivate the spotlight(number 2). Then he continues to the last part of the maze, where he locates himself in a room with five windows, so five possibilities to continue, but only one of them ends up at the launch star.

Planet 2 features a path with almost no obstacle in sight, but the obstacle are in mirrors. However, your path will have the exact same collision as in the mirrors, so if there is a wall in the mirror, there you won't be able to walk through it in your path as well.

After Mario left the mirror maze, he went outside the building/tent and he found himself on a straight road with a leveled part somewhat further. When he lands on the planet, he sees a bill board. Bill board says to mario to watch the mirrors closely as they hide obstacles, but not going to slow as danger lurks here. When mario goes away he soon finds out what the danger was that bill board was talking about, cosmic clones are appearing and following him. In the mirror to his left, mario sees a gap, which doesn't take the full width of the path, so he walks past it(or jumps over). Then he sees another gap in the whole width, so has to jump over, but in the other mirror, there is a wall, which would be directly behind the gap, so he has to perform a backflip to jump over the gap and the wall. Now he doesn't see a lot in the mirror, but he is getting to a leveled platform(green part), he has to use his wall jump to get on it. Then there are some more gaps and walls, which he has to pass, this time the path is not always straight forward. Then he sees a launch star too high to reach, but in each mirror, there is a wall, so he can wall jump to get to the launch star.

I got an idea for planet 3, but I guess it won't be possible, but my idea was to make a light reflection puzzle using mirrors.

Eeehm, I thought it could be a bit darker than daylight for the spotlights, but not as dark as boo moon, because that will make the maze very difficult to navigate

I never thought of it actually, but I think we could go for a house with mirrors on the outside to fit the galaxy-feel, like this:

or we could go for a castle-like building, which rightside-down galaxy had, but then make another design for one.

Okay, if it is too hard, we can keep out the cosmic clones and maybe we can use the cosmic clones here for a comet

I think we can have wires act like vines here to make a connection to other parts of the level. I think this idea hasn't been suggested before, but I don't know for sure if it has already been suggested
