I would first like to point out that Hillary Clinton actually got more votes. Donald Trump only won because of the "Electoral College" system, AKA not even an actual democracy.

Second, I would like to point out this:


We're screwed.

The USA is a representative democracy, it has been this way for quite a while, and both candidates knew that it would be about the electoral votes. The 'popular vote' means absolutely nothing, and never will. If I remember correctly, the 'popular vote losing' thing has happened before, which means that there have been plenty of opportunities to fix it, right? Well, the process hasn't been changed, and whining about it now that your favorite candidate didn't win by popular majority isn't going to change anything either.

Last view: 766 days ago 		"wasted" isn't really a word I would use. SMG2.5 allowed me to meet a lot of great people, a bunch of which I still talk to regulary. iI also helped people develop some skills in one way or another.

but yeah, in terms of actual progress there was like what, a bunch of planet models by cosmological, and that was pretty much it?

It's really just a way for lesser-developed European countries (Or in the case of Cyprus, not even European...) to take advantage of the resources of the wealthier members. This is one of the reasons why countries such as Norway have not joined- It simply does not serve its interests, and the EU's charter would just restrict its freedom and hinder its own progress.

I'm just going to repeat this. He isn't banned for "having a different opinion". He's banned for giving little value to human life and being entitled to it.

He's had all the freedom to speak until now. I haven't deleted his posts or anything. But this shit is beyond the line of what I can accept. The staff also agres with me on this. He was already called out on it, only to continue in that direction.

On topics related to political events, you will always have people who disagree with your opinions, and who stand by them no matter what. "Giving little value to human life" is a very mediocre reason for a ban, it's basically banning someone because they do not share your opinion. Paperplatism was just stating his point and defending his views.

Yeah, a limit that only you knew about. I'm sure that if Paperplateism knew that you banned anyone who's opinion you didn't like, he wouldn't have said what he said. You encourage discussion and debate, but resort to banning when someone doesn't share your views? Do you think silencing people like that makes this an unbiased argument?

If you don't mind me asking, which staff agreed with you on this? 2/3 of your admins are inactive and don't care about this board, which would mean that only 2/4 of the people with Gmod-and-above power could have approved of your decision.

People are actually blaming Turkey's security system for this.


Unfortunately, Turkey's security system is partly to blame - From what I read earlier, the assassin was one of the ambassador's off-duty bodyguards, who was let in just by showing his badge. The Russian ambassador should definitely have had more bodyguards, regardless on whether they were Russian or Turkish. For example, if I remember correctly, the USA had several bodyguards protecting the head of the Turkish consulate in Los Angeles, due to the high amount of Armenians in the region.

Another awful part of this was that the assassin was only 22 years old and from the city of Aydin, which is a relatively good part of Turkey, on the Mediterranean coast (So not even the Turkey-Syrian border). And despite him wanting justice for the events in Aleppo, this will probably only cause Putin seek closer relations with Turkey and increase bombings in Syria.
