The truth about New Super Mario Bros. DS is that Nintendo could've done a much better job on graphics, code, and level design. And when New Super Mario Bros. U released, it was one of the most understandable games with really great level designs. So without further ado, here is New Super Mario Bros. U on the Nintendo DS!

Disclaimer
This is not a remake. New Super Mario Bros. U was made for the more modern Wii U console. The DS doesn't have as many abilities and sprites as the Wii U does. Nevertheless, this hack is still cool to check out!

The trailer was made by fighter206 from NSMBHD.net. My goal is to make is as much Wii U as possible. So far, tons of sprite retextures, new level ideas, and secrets. I have yet to add any ASM hacks to it.

Alright, so I've been hacking Mario for a while now on the Nintendo DS, and I am getting closer to finishing a couple projects on it. Eventually, I want to move on to the Nintendo Wii, so today I've been playing around with some programs.

One thing I want to do is hack Newer Wii. I've seen hacks of it and I have tons of programs ready, but Reggie! won't open any of the stages. And I downloaded the Reggie Next! zip file, but I can't find an .exe application in it. Sorry if that was stupid, since I know it can still do something, but I am very confused and really want to start. Could anybody explain to me how to edit Newer Wii levels?

Wait, the stage folder from the original game? Assuming that because I can't open any of the stages from the stage folder of Newer. Also, yes. I would love to create custom levels for the Wii. My ideas are starting to drain from the DS since it can be limiting.

Well, I have the original stage folder and textures from the original game, and I can make NSMBW Custom stages. I do have Reggie! Next now and it's so cool, but when I click on one of the Newer stages, nothing happens. I noticed that the Newer stages are in LH form. Originals are in an arc form. Anyway to convert LH to arc and back?

I know it's possible to make custom world maps with Koopatlas for Newer hacks, but could I edit the textures in World Maps from NSMBW? I've seen nighttime versions but I want to replace trees, cliffs, mostly everything.

Don't mean to spoil any of my secrets, but I'd like the mountains in World 1 to be Pine Trees.

This is going to be a full NSMBW hack using the original game, and not newer. It will have retextured maps, new levels, and new graphics. I also already got a couple custom music tracks.
