also did you uncheck the "convert to tri strips" button? I know it says strongly recommended but it will help to uncheck it. I haven't had any problems doing that yet.

I recommend you convert it to a european rom just in case you want to do asm or cutscenes. But it's up to you. I'm just making a suggestion.

DK Jungle Climber. It's one of the map files (.nbfs)
I have some information about it now:

1. I can decompress it if I delete the first 4 bytes, but not in the correct way.
2. Those first 4 bytes seem to be a header to the map.
