This could be daytime spacey... what I mean is that it could be daytime, but you can still see planets in the distance.

The problem REALLY isn't 3D modelers (I mean, I agree we need more of them, but that's not the main issue). The problem is there are no DESIGNS to model. The only designs we really have currently are Sky High.

Only issue I have is breaking the cave entrance with a shell. Not only has it been done before, we don't have any breakable walls like that in SMG2. I'd rather have the player enter via pipe or something not done before, like needing to crouch under a crevice to get in.

It looks really nice, but the design is missing a few of the ideas we talked about, such as the spiral keyboard and trumpets and stuff. Also I appreciate the beat block idea, but it's way, WAY too hard for a player to actually pull off. Especially when taking into account the lag when you start rolling as rock Mario. Instead, I think the galaxy should end with an infinite rolling section like melty monster, although it will be easier. You could roll through trumpets, across the keyboard, on top of drums... etc. Also don't forget to make use of the drums and cymbols already in the game!

Wait... what? When did we decide this... I'm fine with Toadsworth in Mario Party and spinoffs (yes I know he was in sunshine) but he has no place in the galaxy series, just like Toadette.

That's a very good start and a nice design... keep going with it! Feels very galaxy, with a Chompworks-type starting planet and some good ideas with the wall-jumping on the plug.

That model looks GREAT. A+ work, the modeling is not only well done, the art style is spot on. My only issue, we may want to do the banzai bills separately, unless we're going to make them look different from the in-game ones... which could work if we make them all sandy.

New trailer? Sounds like a great idea. I'd suggest we get started during the summer, but if we want to start now, why not? This trailer should impact people the same way the second SMG2 trailer impacted people -- the first one was great, but now is our chance to REALLY separate this hack as something with quality level design, unique level ideas, and wonderful visuals. Things I think we should include:

- Hub, even if it's just a beta
- Fluzzard level
- Ice flower/red star
- At the end, whitehole, show people how easily they can start editing levels!

I'd say more but I'm too tired right now, good luck, and if I have the chance I'll help as much as possible and hopefully I can edit this trailer just like I did the last one.

Models could use some work. Luckily, I actually have a very detailed, textured plug already made, I made it for an animation project last year, so don't worry about that. I'll try to model some of this stuff, lots of simple shapes, luckily. Artificial environments are much easier to model and texture.

For Shrapnel Sandbar's background, I'd like an aging, but obviously technologically impressive, GIANT tower, connecting the planet you're currently on and a greener, less bleak planet in the distance (once the inhabitants of Shrapnel Sandbar destroyed their planet, they were forced to migrate across this cosmic tower to a new one... we don't need to say it, those playing will get the idea).

Demo? What?... No, no demo. Demos add way more work, and we already released a demo. I'm fine with releasing another demo at some point, but the amount of testing that needs to go into making a new full demo is too much in my opinion. Let's keep this to a trailer, at least for now. Maybe we'll include a free "Luigi Version" or "Hatless Mario" or fun little hack like that, but no full demo.

Edit: Also, I can see peoples' point about Gliding Inferno, but I don't see it as such a big deal. It's up to you, I think it'd be really cool to show. Also, to show the ice flower, let's do that idea I've always wanted to do for Flarefrost -- a lava slide that you slide down with the ice flower!
