Well I have been browsing the site from some time so I decided to register, I like the discussion themes so because that I joined.
I like games, drawing and some other things if I say something of myself, also I plan to make a Super Mario 3D Land small hack in the future.

Even so I think Nintendo made this to get easy and quickly money after all that"s because the iOS exclusive, since there isn"t any other real reason to launch it a lot later in Android.

I have seen atleast two persons owning an iPhone 4s and getting sick of it. My uncle had one, broken middle button. A friend had one, broken power button or whatever it was (and crapoed battery), and in the end he sold it and got a Nexus.

my family isn't too Apple-fan tho. my sister has an iPod that's barely even used. dad has an iPad that's collecting dust alongside all the other tablets and toys he got.


someone should dig into iOS and find evidence of planned obsolescence implemented in software. would be a fun ride.

and spread it as much as possible-- Apple will likely respond with a C&D. but if you spread things right, noone can control the internet.

Well I think it"s more about a mix of a Hardware and Software in conjunction planned obsolescence.

I wonder if Macs have the same stupid design, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I wonder how restrictive they are. I replaced the stock fan in my PC recently, but I don't know if I can do the same if the PC I got was a Mac...

But that's off topic... sort of. I just hope Apple doesn't set a new precedent here. As said by the OP, it seems like they already did by making batteries non-replaceable. It reminds me of how PCs are designed to not have parts be easily replaced.

Well some parts are replaceable at least (but it can be some tricky to replace), I think that if you see Apple isn"t really interested too much in PC market as with mobile market, since they can make that kind of strategy rentable and also PC market don"t generate much earnings in comparision of mobile market so that explain why Apple don"t make too much changes in them. Also as today I think that it would be even better to buy a normal PC and install Mac OS in it than buy a Mac computer, it will be easier to change and repalce their parts if needed and get the same or even newer CPU, and more; for a minor price.

But going to think it (also it is an high price for one) do you think is worth to buy one?
I guess it will be useful to use for records and for playing in a bigger screen but it should be worth it?
I will also like to hear personal opinions of people that have a 3DS Capture Card of any of that of their thoughts about it and if is worth to buy on.

Last view: 2551 days ago 		Well I think is a good and very impresive quality and FPS to be through Wi-fi, but I think I"ll like the capture card more since I can record it without needing another Wi-fi router for it and also I wil be bale to record DS/DSi games and the GBA Ambassador games; I don"t use CFW with any of my consoles but it isn"t as I don"t know how it works and how to do it.
At the moment I usually use Citra Emulator for capture 3DS games; but getting outside the speed, graphics problems and compatibility problems beetwen games it doesn"t have compatibility with Online at all and makes sense at this point to don"t even start developing them; for how many times I think I should use I think that a couple of times every week. But for the time it seems that Loopy is sould out, it happened before so I hope he restock them later this week since I don"t want to bought a Katsukity one and buying one from other places can be more expensive.
