I think everyone knows me (lol) :nyan: (from NSMBHD)

All others: I'm ray. And I'm interested in Mario games, DS hacking and programming. I also like making music and play with graphics. Currently I'm wokring on an awesome (xD) NSMB hack called Adventure Super Mario Bros. Beneath that, I'm making MKDS Custom Tracks. SO I'm here to take a look whats going on :D

SNES RR's flatness, MK64's faces (going to add that in the future :3), MKSC's boosts, MKDD's falls, MKDS game, MKWii faces (going to add that, too. Same like MK64's faces) and MK7's moon! Got it? :D
And its possible... for about a month, so not very long time :D

True, but its not that easy. The missing floor is something I cant fix at the moment,because we dont knw why it happens. Its not because too many polygons. We checked this. And the texturing is something I just cant do. I have no idea how Nintendo makes that. Also I'm not a pro in Sketchup :) I'm happy that I actually got a nice CT working :D And I already thought about the falling thing. I'll need to fix that.

The model is traingulated (otherwise the collison won't work). And I textured both sides of the face. So... dunno :P

@Walls: Instead of being happy that I made THE FIRST real full CUSTOM (not remake) working MKDS track, I get something like this xD I'm not so good in making CT's, but that will change and then something like this won't be seeable :)

You can use billboard trees for it. (The trees as object) That is one polygon facing the camera with a tree texture for example. It can reduce the number of faces easy. (It is also possible to do in maya)


Actually true. But I'll also implement some trees with more than one polygon :D

I can give you my collision generation code from mkds course modifier. Blank edited his code so it worked for mkds. But much is the same and it can help you.

Thanks :3 This Time I also added some UV mapping in the curves ;)
Actually the dots are the rain included in MKDS. I changed nothing, so be angry with Nintendo :D

Nope, luckily not. I think it was an spa file. For now we can only view them, editing will hopefully coming soon :)

EDIT: I tested my track on the DS, and there the rain looks 10 times better. Actually I recorded the video with DeSmuMe. So I wonder why the rain does look so different.

You even didn't explain it well, so come on:
SNES RR has similar textures and is flat. That's good. Is it?
MK64 RR has faces floating in the air. They were meant to be animated, but still better than no faces. :D
MKSC RR has many boosts.
MKDD RR has an epic fall. As here.
MKDS is a base game.
MKWii's faces were meant to be 25 faces of MKWii's characters. There are 10. :3
MK7 has moon. It's here, too!

Lol I'm sure its DS and sadly the DS has only a resolution of 256x192 so dont expect some nice graphics :)
