Haha, tiny mandibugs sounds pretty cool, actually.
Can't you fix the collision or something? from all the topics I've looked at, I've gotten the impression that that is something you guys can do. |

Catacombs pretty much are underground graves and stuff, I think... Probably should have said crypt, instead. |

Why can't we just reuse bosses? King Kaliente was used twice in the original.
A twist would need to be thrown into the battle, though.. |

How is a younger audience going to know how to mod their wii and stuff so they could play this in the first place? |

Why is Gobblegut the boss? He seems too easy for world 5. |

Has anyone even tested that battle? That seems like it could be ludicriously hard. |

while you can't just decide for everyone, having some lava nonetheless makes sense. There's gonna be SMB3 style tanks, right? |

Maybe an amino acid planet could have things like mushrooms and flowers and shine sprites as icons on them? |

technically I don't think you could use the melting clocks thing, because that's copyrighted and is one of the reasons why Earthbound wasn't released on virtual console
then again this is a hack so derp |

Posted by Polari this is nitpicking, but that's not even world 3, that's 5-2 world 3 is a poisonous swamp with snifits and shy guys and ninjis and boomerang bros and also a Wiggler. anyways there's plenty of inspiration to be had from that considering that is exactly what this galaxy is. |

I'm thinking that both the Comet Observatory and the Faceship should be included in the celebration somehow, since they were both hubs. |

I think we should have something like what Super Mario World did with the star world..
make the map a starman, with a galaxy at each point and a pipe in the center that unlocks after all five have been beaten, then you can have it lead to a straight path with the last three. |

uh, since when? The first NSMB didn't have a special world, NSMBWii was just based on star coins, and NSMB2's star world was literally a straight line.
I haven't played NSMBU mostly because I don't have a Wii U yet. |

It's kinda a mario tradition, by now, though.
Maybe it can be a shine sprite or something instead? |

It has a bit to do with it, the end gates for the gliding levels are both shine sprite rings.
In all honesty, I feel World 7 shouldn't be completely linear if possible, kinda like how World 5 in SMG2 was with all the choices. |

The landing platform is pretty much the same as the one from Fluffy Bluff, and also the Cloud Flower is used. |
