I'm glad to have communities where people do care about my issues and we feel comfortable talking about personal stuff to each other. That's more like it. That's why I keep coming back to them. I don't have much friends in real life because it feels really hard to find devoted Mario fans, but the Internet is perfect to find them.

Birding might be one of them, but I don't see a lot of people my age that are interested in birding. :<

Oh, cool, really? I think I should disable updates on my 3DS just for the time being. Is anyone working or have plans on working on a newer version of browserhax? Or should I just get a PowerSave so I can use OOTHax?

I'm this close to pirating music (and actually I have saved a bunch of youtube videos)

You one time said that once you get ROMs, you can keep them forever.

Could say the same thing for music files.

Google can just burn with all of their dollar bills fueling the fire. Oh, the artists aren't really complaining about pirating music. You know who complains the most? The recording companies. Those damn parasites who set up this "partnership" and get most of the profits if the music becomes popular and the artists can't really get out of it because they get some money too. If you pirate music, you're hurting mostly the poor, helpless record companies. Think about that.

So, Google apparently keeps music in a cloud storage rather than actually let you download music files.

That's seriously messed up. What if Google's servers need maintenance or they screw up or someone hacks it or Google becomes bankrupt and dysfunctional? What if file gets removed for any reason (like controversy?). What if your account for this file gets hacked? What if you lose your account? So many things can go wrong. Is Google afraid that we'll share the files and it'll cave slightly into their massive profits? But how is this different from buying CDs, ripping them, and then sharing them? Why does Google feel entitled like this?

I don't think it's really the chemicals that are the problem. It's that diet foods lack satiety and nutrients, so people just eat more trash when they can eat far healthier foods. That being said, people associate "diet" with bad tasting. They even perceive normal food to be worse tasting when sold in packaged labeled diet.

Zarel got lazy I guess, so he handed the job to some other admin that wasn't capable of making it better

I liked Pokemon Showdown/Smogon better in 2014

Ugh, new Smogon sucks ass. It even warns you what browser it supports. And once you're in the list, the scrolling lags a lot.

It must be pretty bad if even you can't find a way to download the files.

So, StapleButter, finally convinced to go pirating music? You didn't sound so sure last time.

Star Fox Zero is just out.

It's disappointing for several players.

One thing Nintendo can do perfectly nowadays is to disappoint everyone. Doesn't matter if you're a Metroid, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Mario, Star Fox, or Super Smash Bros. fan, Nintendo had promised something and failed to deliver! Want evidence?

-Latest Nintendo Directs turned out to be mostly crap.
-Mario Tennis Ultra Smash turned out to be utter trash.
-Star Fox Zero turned out to be a disappointment.
-Super Mario Maker just sucks overall and is a sad thing that it's a high point of 2015 in terms of Mario. But, 2016 doesn't look that good for Mario either.
-Animal Crossing amiibo Festival sucked ass ever since its reveal.
-Federation Force was the Metroid Prime everyone wanted. That also means we won't get Mario Strikers in a while.
-No DLC for Mario Kart 8 ever again!
-Twilight Princess HD remake that looks barely different from the original.
-Mario & Sonic and Mario vs. Donkey Kong games... who cares!?
-Nintendo turned down an amazing-looking Archie Comic pitch for Mario, Kirby, AND Metroid.
-Nintendo being shitty with Youtube uploaders like always.
-Paper Mario: Color Splash. Perfectly coincides with Mario Party 10.

Smash Bros.... not too bad but I myself don't like Corrin or Cloud that much. I also still miss Ice Climbers and Wolf and the guaranteed Star KOs and Screen KOs. I also don't like Mario's voice in that game. Otherwise, I think that one turned out very well. I guess Xenoblade Chronicles, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and Fire Emblem are also good.

The only exception are Kirby fans so far. And people who like amiibo.

You forgot to mention how dlc in general ruined Smash Bros. :I

I mean, it probably would've been fine if it was just Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, and even Ryu; but then Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta.... ESPECIALLY BAYONETTA... come along and break the frekin game.

Salty, are you?

I dislike Corrin, Cloud, and Mewtwo, but I don't think they "ruined" Smash Bros., much less Bayonetta. How the hell does Bayonetta break the game? lol.

Angry post ahead.

Maybe it is just us but Super Mario Maker isn't really horrible. It sold really great for a Wii U game so why do you think it "sucks"?

It sucks because it's baby's first level maker, but advertised as this big thing. Lacks a lot of shit, has a lot of arbitrary restrictions, and Nintendo overall handles the game poorly. Furthermore, I believe they took down videos, I repeat videos, of modded games in tandem with this game's release. It's disgusting, seems like they're trying to promote this half-baked shitpile of a game while dissing infinitely superior unofficial level creators rather than embracing them. I don't think this game helps publicize the unofficial level makers either, I think this game just buries them. People would just think "why should I use unauthorized stuff when the official one exists?" and stick to Super Mario Maker.

-The game ties content behind user-made levels. If you tried Expert challenge, it's a fucking misery because people can't make good difficult levels even if their lives depend on it.
-The game ties your uploads to "stars" and therefore makes your uploads dependent on the responsiveness of the community. This leads to users begging for stars and Nintendo made the smart decision to ban "star" in the level names. On the other hand, if your levels don't get enough stars, they get deleted. It's just like in Miiverse, they delete your posts if they don't get enough Yeahs.
-The game also limits your uploads at 100 levels.
-The game limits how many blocks you can place in your level. It doesn't have the option to remove the timer all together.
-The game lacks obvious content that should've been there in the first place. For a total, there are 60 elements in this game. No slopes. No themes (they even have an ICE BLOCK and no snow themes). No Spike Balls. No Fire Bros. No Ice Bros.. No dancing blocks. There might feel like a lot of options, but you'll eventually and sooner than not run into restrictions just because something isn't available or you, well, run into an arbitrary limit Nintendo sets for you because Nintendo thinks you need to be spoonfed.
-For some reason, levels start with a chunk of land with a sign on the left.
-Minor: can't turn off the damn music when you're making the level.
-Tiling is automatic, which might be good for a baby's first level, but there is no control on it either.
-They frequently tie stuff to this "shaking" bullshit. That's not intuitive at all, that's annoying. Like, shaking arrow signs for checkpoint flags, shaking Bullet Bills to make them red, shaking Grinders to make them Bumpers, For some stupid reason, Dry Bones become Fish Bones underwater. Why not have an option to make Dry Bones walk underwater!?

... I would think the opposite. SMM had gotten many, many people into making their own levels and the game is showing no signs of dying soon. While it might be constricted compared to level editors like Reggie or Lunar Magic, that's because its just supposed to be a simple level maker, nothing more. What more were you expecting? And I think the game will help people if they want to make their own games, or even get into the modding scene.

It has gotten many people into carelessly making levels and shit without appreciating the modding scene that has preceded it because Nintendo tries to pretend it doesn't exist. "It's supposed to be a simplistic level maker" isn't a valid reason: this game's tagline and advertising ("Everyone can make it") makes it clear that it's intended to be a serious, easy-to-use level design tool when Reggie! and Super Mario Bros. X are also easy to use. This game, I'm afraid, overshadows the other games just because it's official and unofficial stuff are bootleg trash. That's the attitude of a lot of Nintendo loyalists, they totally disrespect the modding scene and often side with Nintendo when they engage in copyright bullshit like screwing over PangeaPanga's channel.

Nintendo does NOT take their playerbase seriously at all. From how they handle levels (deleting them or carelessly censoring words rather than imposing actual quality control) and how they handle Miiverse (they ban "dog", "corn", and "but" as swear words) and how they handle their Youtube policies and Nintendo content creators program, Nintendo treat their playerbase and modders like a disgusting moldy scab growing on their asses. What's going on in Super Mario Maker is an example of that.

That sounds so ironic. Something that tries to be "modern" ends up reminding you of Netscape 4. :P

lol, I like how you bring up Galaxy in anticipation that people will choose it. Me, I wouldn't even put Galaxy in my top 10.

I believe my favorite Mario game is Mario Kart Wii or some Mario Party games, also New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I also really like Mario Strikers Charged and other Mario sports games, but I don't play those extremely often.

I mentioned it because it's related to Super Mario Maker. Right when it's released, videos of games made with hacked levels are taken down.

Of course I haven't. I played only a little of Super Mario Maker and it hasn't maintained my interest. The best levels are still swamped out by the horrible levels (I also believe there is a serious lack of finding levels you like to play too, the navigation, I recall, is horrible) and even the best levels in Super Mario Maker can't outdo the best levels in other level makers.

"Nintendo will sometimes update the game to add stuff". That's not an excuse to have people essentially gambling on a missing feature, gambling to see if Nintendo's going to add them or not. This includes checkpoints for lord's sake. The crap on "lol have wings on everyone and make them plus-sized" should've been the DLC. We haven't seen SLOPES at all and they keep churning out one-off 8-bit sprites (seriously, they're just like playermodels in Gmod: people ask for more and more yet they use them just once and that's it) and other gimmicky crap.

"Limit is important so no one doesn't get lag". On the other hand, people just spam enemies, special effects, giant enemies, trampolines, everything else and that thing will end up frying your Wii even more. I'm not talking about limiting that, I mean the block limit. This block limit doesn't reach lag levels. The limit is way too small and you WILL run into it. A lot of people did and it pretty much ruined their levels.

I don't know what you mean. That chunk of land, I tried everything I can to remove it or try blending it with the rest of the landscape so it doesn't look so jarring, but it seems to be stuck there. An empty grid is good. This is like having a piece of paper and something you may or may not like is already drawn for you and you can't alter or erase it.

Hm, how the hell do you pronounce your name? I call it Tachron. Like Chevron's Techron, but with an A.

Why?

I don't think I'll like it over there. The community is too overwhelming.
