Don't like politics? Too bad, it's-a Mario time. Level: 82 Posts: 81/2062 EXP: 5073692 Next: 135535 Since: 03-14-16 From: Stabbing Wario Last post: 390 days ago Last view: 389 days ago |
Of course, I avoid anything "fat-free". I usually go for regular full-fat products. And guess what, I'm 5'1'' and weigh 95 pounds. Useless anecdotes aside, not only does fat make food taste good, they're high in calories for a reason: they make you feel full. That's why drinking disgusting skim milk and eating fat-free yogurt doesn't make you satisfied, so you just reach for another serving and you end up loading up on sugar or other bad stuff instead. And that's not touching on how some vitamins are fat-soluble, meaning that your body won't easily absorb some nutrients without fat. Fat-free antioxidant-filled Vitamin Water? Nope, without external sources of fat, you'll just end up flushing Vitamins A, D, E, and K away.
On the flip-side, products merely advertised as "fat-free" can elicit a negative impression in consumers, making them think they're tasting something worse even if it's actually the original product inside the box saying "fat-free". |

You know what else? We're getting mainstream news sites like Los Angeles Times implementing fucking infinite scroll on their articles. I've scrolled through an article and I'm dismayed that I'm getting titles of MORE articles showing up rather than an end to the page showing links and the comments section.
Seriously, what the hell happened to Los Angeles Times's home page? It sucks. Why did they decide to put every single section (U.S. news/national news/local/sports/entertainment/business & technology/food/travel) on the same goddamn page? It wasn't like this before. The "entertainment" section isn't visible until you scroll down, and the page then auto-loads the thing. And then, the page glitches out and I can't scroll further down nor can I get back to where I was. Is it because of their emphasis on mobile support? Either way, it looks awful now. That's not all. If I'm reading an article and I'm done, I scroll down and think "I'm done." But, no, stupid infinite scroll loads MORE articles, article names, but it's galling that other sites load FULL articles from infinite scroll (like fucking ZDNet which has an article on infinite scrolling yet it loads another entire article once you're at around the comments section; ZDNet should be ashamed of itself). |

Oh yeah, like unnecessarily dividing an article into three pages when the article isn't even that long. Maybe they're also pandering to mobile because you know how mobile helps web design.
I shudder to think about forums that use infinite scroll for threads rather than pagination. I haven't met any yet, but maybe it'll happen at one point. Oof. |

People keep accusing him of tier whoring. What do you think?
And is it just me, or just Sakurai nerf the top-tier character just because the character is top-tier? I thought difficulty curve factors a lot in those kinds of characters, which supposedly balances them, I guess. |

Ported mine directly from RVLution. Just took it from the stamp background in 3D World, and the Mario at the bottom, I couldn't have done it without RanAS. Anyhow, the Mario here and the Mario at RVLution are the only real differences. Oh, and I like the spoiler button more at RVLution.

Why do you think hipster programming is a thing? Just as how English writing has literature on people advocating on simplifying writing and cutting words, you think there are big-figure advocates of keeping code simple? Or maybe there'll be a bigger emphasis on simplicity in the future?

Press the back button and get more ad revenue by trying to figure out what the hell went wrong.
Can freehosts do this, by the way? The 404 error. Also, I normally don't go to articles that look uninteresting and click-baity. Yeah, you're right, this one sounds like an example of something with very little meaningful content and full of annoying crap. |

Melee is even more unbalanced than Smash 4, if you're going to complain about balance problems. Kirby, for example, is hopeless trash. Even Pichu has some potential to be good. Still love it, but the differences between the characters who suck and the characters who suck less and the characters that are monsters are much bigger.

Sonic '06 being good graphically?
I think the polycount in the models themselves are decent, but the main hub leaves so much to be desired. It's like an inferior Delfino Plaza, and that's from a game that aged badly graphic-wise. |

What would be an example of "replicating the browser's functionality"?
I don't think the occurrence would surprise me either, but it's easier to assume that the hipster "programmers" are incompetent and clueless just like bad authors. |
