First post here is going to be talking about Minecraft. Woo

I don't have much of an opinion about this as I play creative and even in survival I've never had a problem keeping my hunger at a good level, but I hope it doesn't go too far beyond this. I do agree that video games are supposed to be an escape from reality; why people want to play games based on reality is beyond me and this is why I like Nintendo.

From the biased point of view I just got from here though, it amuses me that Minecraft is far from being real (creepers and skeletons and zombies and stuff don't exist, you can't erase the existence of matter completely and that quickly, you can't build things that quickly, wtf is redstone and how does it carry power), but yet it tries to implement realism in square character behavior.

The spade has joined. I'm just here because the other 3 sites I was on before this have all finally shut down in one way or another, so I have activity to spare. Can't promise how much actual hacking I'll be doing here especially since my PC can't handle the emulation of Wii or 3DS, but hopefully I can fit in in one way or another. Hello all!

'view source' opens in a new tab
What did it open it in before?

I've gotten used to tabs actually since windows take up more CPU and stuff and they're messy. Isn't there an option to set it back to windows anyway? There usually is.

There is: Creative vs Survival. There's also a version chooser. Those are the only 2 options you need.

I haven't played either (lol), but I'd say MM3D as well. Probably better to go with the classics before moving on to the new ones. Also since new games sometimes reference old ones.

Well welcome to you too good sir. Pac Mania is one of my favorite Pac Man games and has my favorite VGM from any game in the series (Jungly Steps anyone?).

Why make Minecraft realistic, anyway? As if creepers and giant spiders were realistic by any means.
Kek, you just stole what I said a few posts ago.

rollercoasters are still crap because minecarts don't rotate you when they take turns
This is an issue? I don't want them to change this; if I'm facing a certain direction to do something while riding I don't want to be suddenly turned.

Is your name Google? Because you have everything I'm looking for.

Hey FireMario! Looking forward to seeing some progress on that if I actually remember to check the relevant forum.

By any chance do you have "Flame of Tomorrow" set as your header text in your profile? The header portion isn't meant for plain text but rather HTML markup for a post layout; that's why it looks weird. You may get yelled at if you leave it there for too long. Heehee

But I need A Hat in Time on Wii U, not another version of that darn game that I already paid for a moddable version on PC...

Nope, they're required fields for whatever reason. Youtube does this, stop it.
YouTube is part of a Fortune 500 big corporate giant referred to commonly as Google. The YouTube account is the same as the Google account, and that account is used for every service offered by Google. More than a few of those services requires billing info and stuff so they will need most of that info.

I don't blame the big names for wanting to know everything about you; that's typical and is to be expected. I thought you meant smaller sites wanted all your info, which in that case they probably don't have a good use for it.

ENIN

Pardon my spelling I am rather bad at it. I'm trying to get better. Sorry!
You spell a heck of a lot better than other people I've seen who don't care about improving it. Don't worry.

Either do things related to your motivation or take a break from it. If I do something else for while then someday I suddenly feel like I want to go back to it. Also if I play SMW or games related to it or other people's hacks, I'll feel much more inclined to hack it. Also don't overwork yourself, that's another way to lose motivation.

Hoping for a Wii U this time. It has a good enough game library now. Other than that, not sure what I'm doing.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Grabbed me right from the beginning and blended all my favorite types of gameplay together perfectly. I'll also mention my favorite installment from a few of my favorite series.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Twilight Princess
Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland
Bomberman: Bomberman, Pocket Bomberman
-mo: Pushmo, Stretchmo
"Mission" Mario: Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy 2 (they need to make more of these)
Super Mario Bros.: New Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario World
Luigi's Mansion: Luigi's Mansion

My main OS is Windows because it has the most compatibility with everything I want to do with the most ease of use. For the few Linux-only things I want to do, I have a Raspberry Pi. Yeah it's small and not powerful but it's more than sufficient for what I need it for. But really the only way to do it (to please everyone) is to just have all 3 OSs, whether in separate computers or in VMs (on a fast host), but unfortunately the only drawback of the latter is your host has to be a Mac for it to be legal.

There's no local multiplayer?

Well I guess I'll be biased to your post since I don't own the game and haven't looked up anything about it, but yeah that's pretty bad. The only way to really do online multiplayer is for it to be a competition; that way everyone wants to win, and if they don't play it properly they lose. I can just see that cooperative online multiplayer games will always fail dramatically due to people like that. Do they really expect people to be mature and play properly all the time?
