1. Everytime I try to open 'FlowerHighlandGalaxy' in Whitehole I'll get a crash.
It looks like this: I don't know why it happens because I never opened that Galaxy. I also checked other versions of Whitehole and still nothing happens. What do I have to do? 2. Everytime I try to open Whitehole 1.4(.3) and I try to open SMG2 Objects, nothing is there, which means I can't create any objects on that version(s). What do I have to do? 3. How can I create Icons for level, which you see on the WorldMap? |

1. did you dump your SMG2 copy correctly?
2. do you have the objectdb.xml? 3. use a world map editor, like this one. ____________________ yeah |

2.Ok, now I got it. It works. Thanks! 3. But that program is only for using Icons, which are already made. But I want to create Icons on my own and I don't know how to. (Sry, bad english) But thanks! Wasn't expecting fast answers. (Edit: I just have another question: How do I use SMG 1 Objects (IceFlower as an example) in SMG2?) |

1. which version of Whitehole are you using?
3. Whitehole 1.5.1 (download it here) also has a built-in World Map editor. to use it, open up WorldMap0XGalaxy (8 is the Grand World Map and the rest are their respective world numbers) next, go to the new World Map tab next to objects. then, start editing using the side panel here. note that the World Map icons are not like normal objects. you will not be able to click and drag to move them in the normal editor, you have to use only the side panel. if you're unable to type in a text box (happens to me sometimes) just minimize and reopen Whitehole (don't close it) 4. you can do so using Aurum's ASM patch that re-adds the Ice Flower and Red Star powerup. download Aurum's ASM pack #1 here. unfortunately, i would not be able to answer any questions you may have about this. ____________________ yeah |

3.It's really a nice editor. And thx for the tip, but what I need is something for adding new Icons to the game. For example, I want to make an icon of the cloud object in SMG2, how would that work? 4. Thx, it works. |

3. add a new Galaxy Icon point and for the Icon Name, input the name of the object model (by default it's MiniRedBlueExGalaxy). i believe BigCloud is what you're looking for. ____________________ yeah |

Posted by HEYimHeroic hehe. I just got another problem which is really really weird. Everytime I try to make an custom .obj in the game it works, but the object which I import in the game the object is buggy. It looks like this: (this should be a green cube...) After that, I tried to make the .bdl with SuperBMD instead of python33. And with that the textures of the whole cube loads, but I can fall through it. I don't know why it's like this, I did everything right, but something seems to be wrong. |

Do you mean superbmd_rotatemodel.bat ?
And if yes, do I have to convert the .bmd then to bdl. ? |

yes, superbmd_rotatemodel.bat
and no, both .BMD and .BDL work for custom object models. they'll both work just fine. ____________________ yeah |

Yes, the .bmd, .kcl and .pa are named the same.
Edit: Now I can actually play the level with the object but I still fall through it. Edit 2: Ok, I just fixed it. Now it works, but thanks for all the help!! |
