I first started with hacking MKW with a pack of custom missions, and I've decided I'd delve in custom tracks as well! So here's my first custom track, Cliffside Circuit!

Cliffside Circuit is a small easy track running across a cliff and a mountain in the center. There's stuff to see in the background like some other mountains and mushrooms. It's also 4 laps long, if it makes any difference :P

Today it's been finished and thus is on its latest version. I left a demonstration video below as well.

How do you play it

that's some really over-the-top soundtrack, you can barely make you the start of the track. too close to ear spam.
also, it doesn't really fit the track IMO.

as for the track itself, it's pretty rought but it's not bad for a start. the track is low-poly to begin with so I'll only cover the details:

there's parts you could improve, like the obvious paper-thin bridge and the cliffsides beyond the road not being smoothed at all. it's also lacking grass on those outer walls; I mean there's grass on the ground so it should spread to the outer wall through the texture.

I hope that was clear enough, I hardly ever give feedback for mario tracks.
oh and by the way, if you plan to make more tracks from now on I'd advise against making multiple threads for them. you can just post them in this thread, and eventually rename it if need be.

If you have CTGP or another custom track distribution with a My Stuff folder of sorts, you put the track in that folder, and it will load in game on the track it replaces.

I forgot to take the music out of the My Stuff folder, as it's not intended for the track, just something I had for another project I'm working on. Sorry if it bothered.

Anywho, thanks a lot for the feedback! I'll take it into account for a further revision of the track. And I'll probably do that for any next CTs I make.
