Post all your concept art for Edge of the Universe here! This is bowser's ultimate fortress, you it should certainly look intimidating. I'm thinkin' warped planets, twisted spires, and dark matter.

I really like the idea of a galaxy that almost seems to be falling apart due to its artificial nature... black holes, rips in space... etc. It'll be hard to pull off for sure, but it'll be neat if we can do it! Instead of the typical red/orange that dominates bowser levels, we should go for more purple/green here, if possible. |

Also, is Final Frontier the bowser level in the trailer? I like the idea of the final bowser level not lava (we have 2 lava galaxies in W6 already). As a nod to Bowser in the sky, the sky before the void should be purple. but, with lots of black holes ____________________

I have said this so many times, that castle in teh trailer is too complex and too hectic to be used elsewhere. Even if we do use JUST THE CASTLE, it still would be easier to remake it all. When will people learn >.<
Also, the trailer was pure OC. None of it is going to be used in the final except for RHP's planet and the concept of misty snow in the form of misty peaks. Ignore all else. However, IDK how well black holes would work. One way we could make it work is to duplicate the code adn make it not suck you in and use it for decoration, or we could make a whole new object. ...rainbow black holes? o.0
Probably just tons of black holes (some halfway sunk into a planet), with no powerups, shaky (i.e. falling/disappearing) platforming over dark matter, insane gravity, dark matter spewing everywhere, and no enemies. Void background (is that possible?), and low ominous irregular music fading to nothing at the end. ____________________ Burrow Base design- Text complete. I might try my hand at some art...maybe...eventually...? Bullet Base design- Final Frontier- (collab) There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, it's usually an oncoming express train. Slow and steady gets you trampled by the other guys. |

I dunno how this will work, but maybe we can include WHITE holes (like the real ones) in this galaxies. They could have various sizes and they could have enemies and/or platforms coming out of them?
A cool idea for the background of this level could be to have a giant Black Hole and a giant White Hole in the middle of the background. THe background would then show debris/planets/platforms/whatever being sucked into the Black Hole and then have those same objects come out of the White Hole (Portal-style)  ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy.
