Thanks for the comments, guys. In conclusion, I'll be moving out soon.

For now, I am focusing on getting univ crap out of the way and get a job.

besides, you should only lose (or gain) weight if you don't feel comfortable in your body as it is. when I was a kid, I have seen my parents nag my sister about her weight and occasionally pressure her, and I know that this shit is toxic. because after that they wondered why she constantly wore hoodies and wide clothes and generally exposed her body as little as possible. gee, I wonder why? certainly not because you've been constantly telling her that her body is 'wrong'.

Wow... another example of why parents shouldn’t try to make decisions for their kids and try to interfere with what they want... :(
Hope your sister’s ok, although I’d be surprised if she still is ok considering what your parents were like :/

Layout thanks to Thierry ^-^

so my mom's not giving me any money because i was saving up my lunch money and stuff

it's like 190 dollars worth, and now she won't give me any money because i have a lot

i don't know if it's a valid excuse, but i'm still pissed

my parents occasionally gave us pocket money and never cared what we used it for

but I rarely ever used it, so I ended up with over 2000€ of it

which has been handy lately

I'm pretty sure that's the job of the parent though. What you should be worrying about is how the parent is making the decisions. Also, children shouldn't be allowed to make their own decisions because of their brain developing or something of that nature.

I'm going with the mother here. She gave you the money for LUNCH only not to save up. She's not giving you money because you already of $190 from her. You shouldn't be pissed you should be disappointed but I don't control your life so, whatever.

Yes they should -- as a parent, you ideally make sure that their decision is sound and that they don't fuck up.

But independence and critical thinking need to be developed, and you don't do so by telling your child that they're too dumb to take decisions on their own.

I understand how they need independence but don't go let them do whatever that's how drugs start and that shit. But I do agree with you that you cant just forever control your child.

Most people I met in school/univ were normal people and not drug addicts. Of course, some did smoke weed, but it didn't seem to be a major problem, but I wouldn't know.

However, real drugs problems can arise when children are depressed and find it as a coping mechanism. In such cases, the solution is therapy, repression will only make things worse.

So yesterday I left the house for the 3rd day in a row.
It was quite nice too, I sat around, and spoke with family visiting from out of town,
and such, instead of sitting in my glorified closet of a "room" picking away at the triangle count of
more Mario Kart Double Dash tracks (and constantly telling someone I'm not their personal therapist).

For the first time in a very very long time, time seemed to slow down,
I was only there for about 3 hours, but it felt more like 5, or even 6 hours,
which probably means I finally stopped thinking about the usual shit for once.

ah, stepping away from the usual things can be quite fun but jarring, but i feel like i can do anything that feels jarring as long as i have my music

it's weird that i rely on my music whenever i go anywhere, anytime i don't listen to music bad things happen, such as me throwing up in the car for some reason (music apparently doesn't cause that to happen? i don't know)

I'm in stark contrast to that

I never listen to music or almost when I'm out, I like to stay connected to my environment

however, when I'm in my room I listen to a lot of music (and my tastes are... weird. like about everything about me)

I usually only listen to music whenever I'm sleeping or working on something, and to a lesser extent, while I'm travelling with my family and I don't have anything to do except for looking out of the car window...
