Anyone have any ideas of what should happen if Peach gets a Power Flower?

That's a tough question, Mario has flight, Luigi as invisibility, and Wario has invulnerability, and weight, and of course Yoshi has Fire breath.

Perhaps Peach's power up could take inspiration from Super Princess Peach?
Perhaps giving her the Parasol as something that would slow down falling, and maybe act as some
kind of enhanced melee weapon, or maybe it would do something else?

Or she could use emotion based attacks directly from, or based on SPP?

I figured out what to put as Peach's Power Flower ability, and it will be a surprise!

There's a new demo available. Look at the original post.

I'll test it whenever I have time.
EDIT: Tried it and it seems to work fine on a real DS, tho I noticed some problems which are in a spoiler for spoiler reasons:

*Toad is cool but his normal and double jumps are too tiny. Plus, his other jumps go as high as any normal characters making it even weirder.

*Toad's life counter graphics are corrupted.

*I may be taking the wrong door but the door that's supposed to go to the test map doesn't work.

*You have all stars collected since the beggining. This is probably intended but I figured I'd report it just in case.

*In Wet Dry World, the spawn point is weird and the water is intangible.
That's all as far as I can remember.

Have you tried going into Blocky Block Land as Mario? It crashed for somebody.

Toad is supposed to jump as high as Wario.

WDW is not part of the hack and I intentionally put the spawn point there for testing purposes.

Yes, it's intended that you have a complete save file. Otherwise, you won't be able to freely test the extent of the hack.

Take the left door to enter the test map.

Can you show a picture of Toad's graphics? I never noticed that.

Mario in Blocky Block Land works fine for me.

*Sure but why are the sideflips, backflips, and triple jumps so high?

*OK.

*OK.

*You mean the left wooden door from peach's castle's first floor? It doesn't work.

Peach does the same thing.

No, I mean the one that would normally take you to the second floor.

So maybe the crash is flash cart specific. Which flash cart are you using, because I want to compare?

Maybe I should fix the other jumps them.

*It worked. Thanks!

*I'm playing it using TWLoader.

*Yes.

I'm not sure what's going on with corrupted graphics because I don't see them.

I just tested jump heights in the test map and all of Toad's jumps match the height of Wario's.

And maybe TWLoader makes a graphical assumption it shouldn't be making (something about contiguous tiles maybe).

Weird, because it didn't do it for me. Did you patch the ROM properly?

Yep, using latest xdelta version and patching to the (e)(wetnwild) rom using the EUR patch.

Great work! I really like the new characters and am looking forward to this hack! :)

Some minor, not important issues:

* Picking up the box will use Peach's voice sound instead.
* Entering the canon crashes the game/emulator.
* The movable water does not work.
* The life counter icon is correct on my ROM.

1. I wonder which box.
2. I noticed that before your post and fixed it.
3. Not part of the hack; won't fix
4. Yeah. I'm not sure what's up with poudink's ROM.

New things!
*Choosing any options on the title screen other than the options or the main game freezes the game;
*In C3, it is possible to get to the bridge between the two pyramids by the outside with precise jumps.

1. WiFi breaks on a normal SM64DSe-patched ROM anyway. As for the Rec Room, I fixed the bug in seconds. However, I'm going to wait until later to make the minigames themselves not crash.
2. Since it's precise, I'm going to leave it like that. ;)

Wi-Fi? SM64DS never had Wi-Fi, I suppose you mean download play?
None sense, it doesn't break, Nintendo's Download Play signature just becomes void
when the ROM is modified.
There are even ways to get around the lack of Nintendo's signature requirement with custom firmware, or the dev version of DS Download Play. (Both of which are very easy to obtain).

Someone could very well crack Nintendo's signature, and we could patch it back into DS ROM Hacks.
