Not to mention, Trump being chums with Putin and Russia possibly rigging elections for Trump.

Despite the well-documented financial corruption involving Trump and Russia, there's absolutely no evidence of Russian hacking to interfere with the US election. What little has been released to support the claims is highly dubious, such as the comically-obvious presence of Russian-language metadata (as if that's more likely to indicate skilled Kremlin hackers who know how to cover their tracks rather than someone trying to frame Russia). On the other hand, there's abundant evidence of GOP election officials and voting system vendors rigging the results for Trump.

Heck, there was a military coup attempt in France known as the Algiers Putsch of 1961 in order to prevent the independence of Algeria.

Interestingly enough, this French coup attempt was linked to Permindex, a CIA front organization with JFK assassination conspirator Clay Shaw on its board.

What sucks about being a centrist is alt-left calling you alt-right and vice-versa

Medium left, even medium-right they're okay positions to take. Just don't go too far down the hole in either side, it never ends well. I prefer medium-rare left but that's mainly because I'm left myself.

So should we go pen-and-paper first and revise capitalism and have a choice from parties that are medium-left and medium-right?

It's not just centrist. It happens with pretty much any extreme groups who see people with views not as ludicrously extreme as them. Alt-right groups would first call me a c and then call me an SJW, while extreme left groups would be content with labeling me as a conservative pharma shill or whatever.

Alt-left doesn't exist though I do agree that a far-left exist, but technically, there isn't a left-equivalent of the alt-right.

I've been called "alt-left" for favoring Bernie Sanders. But to me the actual alt-left are the National Bolsheviks however, they're a fringe of a fringe. NazBols are literal "commie-nazis" who are socially far-right and fiscally far-left and who worship Stalin instead of Hitler. NazBols are those who say the Holodomor is a "Jewish lie" and the kulaks were "Zionist agents". But once again, NazBol is a fringe of a fringe.

This is their flag: [thumbnail]

As I said, though, this is far left. There simply isn't a left equivalent of "deplorable" sexist Neo-Nazi white supremacist GamerGaters, and the term "alt-right" was invented by their adherents. "Far left" is more disorganized. If you're called "alt-left" for supporting Bernie Sanders, that's horseshit. Bernie Sanders wouldn't even be far left in Europe for crying out loud. People who call you "alt-left" are probably so far right than anything to the left of far-right would be called "alt-left".

Corporate Democrats (i.e. supporters of Hillary Clinton) also love to call Bernie supporters the "alt-left", in order to tar them with the same brush as Trump supporters.

Can we expect the Green to do more of what they are supposed to do if we vote for them?

I don't know, they don't seem organized well enough and call me for a lack of imagination, but I can't imagine them governing at any level in the U.S... and I don't think they'll follow through with most of their plans, especially not with the Repugs around.

I like most of the Greens' agenda (except for some anti-science planks), but I don't see much of a road to them becoming a serious political party either. The most viable path for left-wingers is to forcibly drag the Democratic Party away from being a representative of the oligarchy, which still won't be easy. It'll require inspiring candidates akin to Bernie Sanders as well as serious election reform (especially returning to hand-counted paper ballots).

Actually, I thought alt-right was just the same as far-right. Also it’s not even only far-something, here in France the Socialists (stabdard left here) call us Macron supporters right-wing, and Republicans call us left-wing. But En Marche is basically centrists, socialists and republicans who said « how about we stop sucking our parties’ dicks and just propose what works? » and then « Actually we’re not even that different »
