And (probably) the last question:

More levels are easy. Simply go to the "Stages" directory in Newer Decompressed and replace the stages you want to overwrite with your own. Also, what do you mean by objects? Do you mean things like custom sprites? ____________________ Just a fucktard |

Yep, I mean custom sprites. Such as Waddlewings which were created in NSMBU/NSLU.
And can I replace Newer bosses with other, with collision map and sound effects? ____________________ blærg |

Yes. You can do all those things. They all require C++ and/or PPC knowledge. ____________________ Just a fucktard |

I don't mean to hijack the thread or anything, but I figured it'd be redundant to make another thread just for asking one other question related to Newer Wii.
How do you make animated tiles in a tileset? I'd like to make a "Black Castle" tileset with the spaces between bricks glowing blue, then dimming, and then repeating. Here's a (rough) example of what I have so far: ____________________ |

What you're trying to do sounds pretty interesting, but I don't really know much (or anything) about animating. Maye someone else has a tutorial on such things, but I haven't been able to find one. ____________________ Just a fucktard |

putting a link to your own thread about asking nsmbw questions and then saying you don't have an answer isn't exactly the best way to give help ____________________ discord: salty#1212 photobucket |

Posted by NokNokShell There is also the possibility to .LZ compress them, if you really insist to compress your Level Files. The Newer Engine is also able to "read" LZ compressed files. I think this was also originally a deactivated feature of the retail game and they activated LZ and LH "reading" for Newer. If I'm right, there could also be support for .szs and some other compressions. |

Erm, Just don't use LH files if you don't understand them. Keep them uncompressed, and use the decompressed files.
