I tried playing it on a real DS, and here's my feed back.
First of all, the first level "Wiggler's Maple Tree", or something to that nature, crashes, meaning that I cannot get any Stars. This hack came out of the blue and it seemed to be neat-o judging from the trailer. Shame it's not for N64, but I'll drop the bragging and check how it looks in the final release. Good job :^) |

So...
Right off the bat, I went into the red house, looked at it a little (why is the ? block not solid?) and then tried to get back out, and ended up clipping through the floor and into some water. That allowed me to swim up to the caged star and get it, and made me stuck. And Maple Starlight freezes on DeSmuME. You have too many objects (at least 258, including ones that can't be added in the editor such as camera, stage, minimap, etc.), so you overflowed the heap. (Fun fact: The HUD, the very last object to load, overflowed the heap, so you can get away with removing 1 or 2 objects.) ____________________ Current hack: Excerpt from Super Mario 256 |

and how do I make two versions one for the emulator with better graphics and one for the original ds with less polygons and simpler graphics what do you think |

I'm echoing pretty much everyone else here, but this is pretty damn good. Hope this achieves the same popularity as Super Mario 64: The Last Impact, but also *not* hope Nintendo or some faker tries abusing copyright to take this down. This is too good, doesn't deserve that stuff.
I hope I'll get to try it some day. |

Posted by rafa4k Probably not a good idea, the textures themselves are fine, it's really just the triangle count of the models themselves that cause issues. I wouldn't recommend making sperate versions, since some emulators, like MelonDS emulate triangle count limitations, as well, IIRC. the strange one and that I tested in the desmume and it worked normal without no glich but in my dsi gives some glichs when it has many things in the screens that is why I spoke in making two versions |

It works on Desmume, because it doesn't accurately emulate the DS Hardware, it won't crash for some of the reasons a real DS might crash for, like having something set up incorrectly,

I like to desmume why it has all the effects of the game as the fog by and also it has no glich what emulator that emulates the perfect ds? |
